Sup, name is Jari, back to play that drum... (yes... THAT drum!) ...and this is my third video.
I would appreciate if you would take some time to watch this video. I chose this song because it is pure epicness... PERIOD!! (...aaaaand it was the first song of this band I ever heard). If you don't know them, go check them out, I promise you won't regret that.
This time I miced up with an SM57 into the H4n Handy Recorder. The mic next to the ride is not used in this video, but will be used in any future videos, so you are actually able to hear that ride... (so everybody look forward to that, weheeeee...).

Great cover of a great song. I started playing the drums a year ago and I think I will never come to that level. But awesome to watch nevertheless.

Thanks a lot! And I'm sure you will get to that level at some point. Keep on practicing and don't give up, and you can become even better. Every practice-session will improve your playing, even if it feels like it doesn't. Challenge yourself to push your boundaries, when you feel comfortable with the level you are at. But most importantly, have fun! Good luck
