    Tying all the lose ends of my plant projects you keep asking me about. All my propagations or struggle plants and where they are now. As well as an update on my plant growlight I use for Monstera, Queen Anthurium, Philodendron, Syngonium, Pothos and other indoor plants. Thanks to the slim design and low heat emission you can use it for growing vegetables or plants indoors. The Spider Farmer SF600 Grow Light uses 384 OSRAM diodes and consumes only 72 watts, which consumes less energy and saves on electricity bills. It's super easy to install, just fit into a socket.
    Enjoy ♥

    Hi Kristina, greetings from Sydney 👋🦘thank YOU for all your efforts in providing us plant parents tips n tricks for getting the most out of our plant journey. I've learned quite a bit from your successes (and failures) and realised that we are all just trying our best. I love your style, your accent and your sense of humour! Keep up the great content and let's hope 2023 is a very productive year.

That's exactly what I'm aiming for. 😊
      I agree let's make 2023 a great year for all of us, each in their own way.

    • @LeafyLuster
      @LeafyLuster  Год назад +2

      Well I wouldn't say I'm not likable but I haven't had any skills in videomaking or editing prior to starting the channel, I don't have a huge friend group in real life. I don't have extreme unicorn plants in my collection or a fancy life/house, I'm not the stereotypical aesthetic girly. I'm not a professional gardener, my english is ok but you can definetly hear the accent etc....There is a million reasons one can doubt themselves.
      I am very glad though that despite these facts there is something I have to offer and that people like my personality and that you guys are enjoying my videos and how I make them. I also do know that I put a lot of effort into my channel and that I can pride myself on giving 100% on the these videos, improving constantly. This is not supposed to be whiney, I'm just surprised or maybe even relieved that you don't have to have intense main character energy to grow an audience on here 😁

      Ich sag das immer wieder bei mir laufen die Common plants auch viel besser als die seltenen. Jetzt mal Monstera Deliciosa variegata außen vor gelassen. Ich sag mal die seltenen kaufen nur Sammler. Die normalen werden halt auch von normalen Leuten gern gekauft. Ich nehme auch immer nur Ableger wenn es halt gerade passt. Ich glaub ich hab noch nie eine Pflanze explizit geschnitten um sie zu verkaufen. Es war immer entweder ne Rettungsaktion oder sie war zu groß ^^

    I have a pink princess that I am struggling with. It has root rot. I have cleaned it with peroxide type and and repotted it. Cutting back as much of the bad roots and stripping. The yucky stuff off leaving the inner portion. Hoping it will shoot out stronger roots.
    There are 2.
    In my pot, I'm tempted to take these out and place them in purlight. I do have it under a grow light. This silver king is doing fairly well. I have more of those. Any suggestions how to pull it out of root rod?
    I did cut several of the leaves to give it more energy for the ones that looked good.

    • @LeafyLuster
      @LeafyLuster  11 месяцев назад

      It sounds like you already did a great job at saving your princesses. How long was this ago? I would probably leave it as is, to not stress the plant any further. If you notice more yellowing leaves and the plant is not seeming to recover you can still transfer to perlite. If all else fails you can still take a top cutting and put it in water.

  • @KoolnJ
    @KoolnJ Год назад +1

    Did you air prop your albo before cutting? Im currently growing mine to prop eventually and thinking of doing that

    • @LeafyLuster
      @LeafyLuster  Год назад

      Yesss I did and I even made a video about it 😅 You can check it here: ruclips.net/video/82yPvDnVut8/видео.html it works well for Monstera so if you have the time an want to make it a little safer you can go ahead and airlayer.

    • @LeafyLuster
      @LeafyLuster  Год назад

      I haven't yet but I belive it should work just as well, maybe it is a little more messy or difficult to keep moist. I was thinking of trying it on some of my next airlayer-projects ^^
      Have you already tried ?

    • @aidensiessmayer5615
      @aidensiessmayer5615 Год назад +1

      @@LeafyLuster I have a splendid that I bought last week that i am airlayering because it's leggy. I used those cheap plastic pots that are not solid if that make sense, and perlite. I noticed how it dries out quickly, so I put wet paper towels on top so it can soak in. I think that's the trick.

      Love that creativity! 🙌😁 I also saw people use ziplock bags filled with perlite, but I guess that only works well if you already have som bigger aerial roots like with monstera deliciosa 🤷‍♀️.
