I found your channel. Im an empath and I've been struggling for years. I feel alone and just cry to myself. Im drained these days. Esp when I can feel people's energy. And I would often feel it's their disappointment in me, like in my new work now. I am tired and cant function well because I feel everything. I am tired of wearing a mask that im ok but i cant do anything because im busy. Hope i can get over.
Thank you for your video. ❤

Needing to connect with nature is right!
Intuitive empathic introvert. Its hard to walk in this world. Its not my home. Need to be alone to discharge and that then helps to recharge. A relationship with God my creator is life.feel connected to my creator in nature...and when being still.

    Hi Dennis,
Another very interesting subject to chew on. All these avenues for understanding healing strategies. They must resonate in some way shape or form to EVERY Anxiety warrior. I have been contemplating the HSP/empathic subject. I believe I am both. I am also finding that there is a link between
    “ conflict anxiety” and HSP.
I have RUN from conflict situations for years. Even other people’s scary situations.!
Just to keep the peace. Avoiding it, has kept it in some special box just waiting to explode into that sensitized state of mind. When the toughest of times come....
    coping skills, resolution, strength,
clear thinking, have all flown out the window.
This is becoming my greatest healing period. To “ LOOK” at this
and discover that I CAN, WILL, and be safe to cope.
    I hope this helps someone.❤️

Just found this podcast, 5 yrs late, but this is so me, I wake up aware of my family’s issues waiting to see what the day brings but feeling anxious and helpless to control it, unfortunately living in a busy town in the uk getting close to nature is almost impossible without travelling miles, one of my biggest issues is lack of sleep and waking at 3am feeling overwhelmed with anxious fear of the unexpected,

Sometimes you think you are the only one who has a symptom or a personality trait that is part of YOU not anxiety. Then you watch his videos and you suddenly hear "does this sound like you". After that you know that your mind is lying to you most of the time, and you are not the person you thought you were.

Thank you for sharing this. For anxiety I find acupuncture, meditation, and the traditional Chinese medicine Heavenly Emperor's Formula very helpful. And your RUclips channel is super beneficial as well. Many thanks, Anxiety Guy. ~Erica

Is feeling weak and vulnerable physically, normal when having anxiety? I'm 38 yrs old, I feel like 80 yrs old. Weak and out of balance, feeling down and worried. I'm used to be athletic I ride my bike atleast 45km daily and sometimes join local races. I also run 5km in the afternoon. I worried a lot financially, mentally, emotionally and especially physically. Sometimes I want to cry but I can't.🙁

Hey Dennis, I’ve been on track for recovery this past week. I’ve been managing my symptoms well and have been feeling all around better which has been great! However just this morning I woke up from my sleep with high levels of anxiety. I tried my meditation however I just couldn’t relax, so after battling with it for a few hours I finally relapsed into a panic attack. The attack only lasted a 30 seconds or so but it was a lot different from any others I had, it was like I sorta welcomed this one like “ok good this is just a panic attack” and when it was over I started feeling a lot better. I know this is a bit of a weird story but I just wanted to see if you had any insight into this as it was pretty confusing. Thanks Dennis God bless🙌

I have such fear through out the day, friends tell me I need counseling, I don't think I can find someone who under stands being a empathetic person. Some times I know things that are going to happen, I panic and they happen. How do I deal with this???

    • @TheAnxietyGuy1

Slowly begin trusting in the idea that you don’t have to figure everything out and have answers to all your perceived problems. Soon what your friends say will be seen as a reflection of their own repressed feelings and not knowing what the future holds will also feel safe.

I'm finding it hard to figure a way to recover from anxiety because of this issue. Im not sure how to navigate myself...how much I should push myself out of my comfort zone and when I should protect myself. This has proven to be very challenging. I feel anxiety so hard (all feelings, actually) that its hard to deal with the symptoms, and my mind going crazy. Any advice, Dennis?

    • @TheAnxietyGuy1
      @TheAnxietyGuy1  5 лет назад

Softykins Go back to simplicity. My content goes deep into the depths of how anxiety manifested, but many times the answer can come down to one thing you consistently do each day that’s different, and opposite. ❤️
