Love the long Vlogs KASHIA 📹💕, and I’ll say about the Fit Me foundation have them bring there own foundation if they have the product I’ve been a Maybelline girly for yearssss and also used high end products but I also go back my current one is the Maybelline Dream Urban Cover SPF 50 foundation it’s full coverage/buildable but once you see the money return start investing in your business little by little and, Congratulations on starting your MAKEUP 💄 business!! 🍾💐✨💕

this video is wayyy too on point and at a crazy time. i’m literally on the same path building my kit and trying to start my mua career and boy is it stressful 😅. i’m a super perfectionist too and as much as i feel that it is a strength it can definitely be a weakness with overthinking. any model i’ve ever done i’ve always seen where i went wrong more than what i did right even with all the compliments in the world. i feel like starting off humble sucks but until you start making an invest back you gotta pick and choose in what you pay a hefty price for and what is okay to be drugstore or affordable. wishing you the best of luck on your journey and would love more content on this!

I totally understand your hesitation to invest in high end products…it’s a gamble bc you may or may not make it back right away. But my advice is to bet on yourself, you KNOW you’re going to make it back so buy one shade every month or every time you get paid until you eventually have every shade. Rome wasn’t built in one day, extend yourself a little grace ❤️ next time I’m in ATL, I will def try to book you

Hey girl I do makeup too! N I use Fit Me n yesss I totally agree the coverage isn’t there. The flawless finish isn’t there. Like you said we can’t expect much from the drug store foundation. I loveeeee my NARS long wear😩 and I know if I do use it on my clients it would eat. Cause it use it on myself with La Girl concealers. But the foundation is literally the make or break of the look. TikTok NARS foundation makeup kit and the girlies will show you the 4-5 shades you can start with. Good luck on this new journey you’ll do amazing🫶🏾

As a nail tech who’s only been at it for some months, I started with very cheap materials. You can definitely make cheap things work, as you don’t need to use expensive products for every single thing. BUT if you know that the more expensive products will work better I would just go ahead and invest. With businesses it takes money to make money unfortunately, so I would go ahead and take that loss if you know that in the end the result would be much better! ❤

A workaround to start is to buy pro face palettes. The ones I see the most of our MAC ,make up forever, and Bobbi Brown. But I’m sure other brands probably have them too.Take a look to see how you like the shades. Hope it helps.❤

I love this vlog!!! I think you if you start getting more clients during the week you should get 4-5 shades of your favorite foundation but make sure those shades are “popular” within your clients like if you do mostly light skins and brown skins get those shade and if you ever end up doing someone else that’s a shade in between you can mix the foundation together so you can get the exact results your looking for I know exactly what you mean btw because I noticed it too the makeup is bomb but it’s not the same as your usual makeup that you do on yourself anyways you got this for sure and May God be with you and I wish you success in all your endeavors ❤️

Maybe start with buying 1 or 2 common shades (like if you have a lot of dark/brown skin buy like 2 of those shades) then add monthly or every other month. & it’ll build your collection over time without you spending a fortune all at once.

maybe there’s a better drugstore foundation there you can try. i would say experiment with some other ones or you can try mixing. also shein has bulk of powder puffs for less than $10

But , do a few shades at a time! It takes money to make money! That better quality that a better foundation gives may bring you more clients & success overall . It's always quality over quantity!!!!! It always works out when you think about it that way .

So instead of going to spend more money use that perfectionist skill that you have and perfect the fit me . Maybe change your base for the fit me . I use fit me but I’m also a nars girly are you using the white top or the black top that alone definitely is a big difference? Your makeup looks great though sometimes you just have to see it through until you get the money back and then go for it .
