I agree! i find this song and this video a masterpiece. The metal cube structure, the white outfits against the harsh gray industrial setting, the strength in the choreo and the vocals, everything is a feast for the eyes and the ears.

BTS brought Kpop into popularity. Because of BTS, people got to know and became fan of other 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th generation of Kpop groups. Kpop culture starts with 1st generation groups such as Seo Taiji and Boys, H.O.T, Shinhwa, Rain, and more. The groups you mentioned are from 2nd generation.
But BTS introduced many more people to kpop and brought kpop into the mainstream so give them their props where due

They have the most unique blend of voices that i can recognize without even looking at the video and their personalities are so unique and brilliant. I'm ELF and i supported Nu'est right after their debut in 2012. At that time they had a show of their own, sorry I forget the name, it's quite interesting to see the boys around the street and tried to gain attention. But unfortunately bad management made me to forget them after they finished promoting this song. When I saw them in PD101, I was extremely shocked. I cried and felt so bad for these boys. They was strongly compared with EXO at that time ( in 2012) and fans from those 2 fandom had war everytime they met each other. Hope their comeback this time will bring them back to their peak-of-fame period.
