Spot on. Totally agree with your comment. I have seen so many fantastic old buildings in London totally stripped of original interiors and the IKEA mode installed rendering the building soulless Awful. Just awful. I don’t understand if this type of interior appeals to people go buy a glass and concrete box on the Isle of Dogs !

It feels awful enough to be priced out of your own hometown; to then have to watch as it’s gutted and rebuilt, specifically to appeal to greedy people who only want the address as a status symbol - that’s a huge slap in the face to the city’s true community. I know that NYC isn’t nearly as old and storied as London, but it’s just as sad for us, watching our city, as we know it, disappear.

It reminds me of the Peninsula Hotel in Chicago. The blown out highlights (aperture way too open) combined with a grey day, don't do this place justice. Paint and dark accents would do wonders. Wish they had shot this in the evening, because I'll bet it looks amazing with internal, exterior, and city lights.

It’s just a show setting for the house itself. Usually one would remove all the loose furniture and decor. Wall finishing looked great, flooring... well, up to tastes, but I would have preferred other wood. Kitchen and bathroom fixtures ok, more or less, perhaps some sinks would need replacement, and I couldn’t see the faucets. But then clearly all the rest could and would go for the eventual buyer.
It looks so... sterile. I would have expected the interior of such a grand looking building to be more elegant, like Victorian or early 20th century England, like noble estate houses like Chatsworth. Instead, it looks more like a corporate living space. And it's way too bright. I can see someone wearing sunglasses inside this mansion.

An amazing property, plus the best presenter yet (by quite some way). That being said, one of the things I love about the Enes and Serhant channels is their knowledge of acrhitecture (and correct use of terminology). I'm being picky - sorry to be a pain :O).
Excellent presenter and the interior decor is first class. But the layout of the apartment is quite strange, with relatively small living areas and odd rooms that are connected by superfluous lobby areas. Nevertheless, the architects have managed to optimise the area within the constraints of the heritage building. Job well done.
I agree. The lobby areas could be an opportunity for more storage. Starting out, I had to rent a storage bin to stow overflow. Once you upgrade to a larger home, you'll want that, as in having storage in the same building.
I get the sense it’s “really lovely.” “Oooh, hidden storage behind the mirror!” The other line I love is “what a luxury to have your own study.” Fabulous presenter though. I guess at this price point it makes sense to hire an actress for the walkthrough. She’s great.
I didn’t expect Oceanic House to have apartments. For some reason I thought that it is office building. One of mine favourite location just at the beginning of Pall Mall and beautiful houses opposite. Kinnaird House and the one on the corner of Suffolk Street with Pret A Manger. What a stunning place.
Well presented. lovely home in the sky. Wish the tones were other than grey...which suggests a fog. Not quite palatial but then again at this price point one doesn't get palatial. Still, an ample family home. And with Chuck and Cammy residing just down the street...a winner! Hmmm...maybe tea with the Royals.

They grey tone design give off a very stoic feeling. A few Bryant colors added to the interior would be a plus. However, the architectural design of the building and the apartment is pleasing.
Wow, so much history, so much original character - a lot of the wood was probably rare and brought from around the world, not to mention, plastering details, etc. that there aren’t even craftsman to do anymore and they’ve managed to turn it into a sterile cookie cutter mausoleum! All that character they renovated out of it can never be replaced. If you told me it was built 10 years ago by a nouveau riche millionaire just pointing to stuff out of a magazine, I couldn’t tell you different. Oh well, time marches on 🤷🏻♀️
When you first walked into the main seating area, my first thought was that instead of the dark blue, purple (my favorite color, with grey next). I feel that the study proved my idea.
First thing you see in the flat are lots of door hinges, these days there are a lot of options for hiding door hinges. Even if they had taken the simplest option and painted them white.
Very Nice Apartment, Nice Presentation. Several times the presenter made reference to a room, closet etc but did not show on the video. Would like to see all areas and perhaps a little slower. Just my thoughts. Thanks..Keep up the good work
Everyone is saying this is the best presenter and while I agree she is exceptionally talented and professional, what attracted me to this channel was how simple and down to earth the others, especially matt and summer were. In my opinion, that was what makes this channel stand out from just any property/interior design channel. It's a shame to see that fade away and become the same as all other content out there. Maybe it'll appeal to a larger audience, but what I liked was matt and summer made me feel like anyone could do this, anyone could build a future and own a property like this. They had character and relatability. But this video doesn't have character, or feeling, it is just a tour of a property. I guess this comment will probably just get lost amongst all others. And at the end of the day this is a business and it's not like I'm somone who would buy a luxury property, so perhaps I'm not the intended target audience.
For £16m …. a gym, cinema and pool should be standard. I think the house is around 5 million and the other 11 million plus is for the location..😊Beautiful home though
Fabulous building but hideously modern inside. A definite gut job to restore it. Wonder how they got to do that when the so-called rules for grade 2 listed property are so strict elsewhere
@The Chloe You might have noticed this was ALWAYS an office building, not residential, so it wasn't "modernized", but merely made livable as a home, instead of small office spaces... .Notice please, the antique molding everywhere, and the gentle hand they had with the many bathrooms...So, NO, you do not need to "GUT" this to de modernize it. That's absurd. Just remove the furniture. It's probably just staging, anyway.
What a modern monstrosity! Such a gorgeous, palatial exterior too. The inside is so cold and unwelcoming, I was expecting grandeur.

She’s back 👏🏼👏🏼
That’s magnificent 🌹

SINCERELY PETER
The most beautiful thing here was showing us around!
Such a professional. 👍
They grey tone design give off a very stoic feeling. A few Bryant colors added to the interior would be a plus. However, the architectural design of the building and the apartment is pleasing.
The selling point of this place is defense location and the view
Beautiful penthouse! I wouldn’t choose grey but maybe the designer wants to match the colour of the sky with the decor. 😂
Dark blue and grey are an allusion to the color of the seas the night the Titanic went down.
Lost of words, just stunning ❤
This apartment is just superb, the finishes were top notch.
Thank you for sharing this beautiful property..
Are Matt and Summer gonna start doing these tours again?
Miss them doing them
Hopefully not.
Matt and summer were terrible
Get over Matt and Summer, this lady is the future
Don't recall asking for anyone else's opinion
@@paulroden1311 oh be quiet silly guy, this is the internet. You dont ask, you get
This home is fabulous. One of only a few I've seen that I think is worth the money.
Hannah you are a pleasant presenter.
Oh well, time marches on 🤷🏻♀️
finally someone toured this property! thank you so much!!
That is a very nice place.Totally kitted out for just about anyone to be happy with.
Great tour excellent penthouse
When you first walked into the main seating area, my first thought was that instead of the dark blue, purple (my favorite color, with grey next). I feel that the study proved my idea.
Hannah is a top bird lots of knowledge and brilliant at communicating
No swimming pool, jacuzzi, gym, parking home cinema..forget it.
Super interior decor n fantastic view n even more, what an incredible location. W the features n services available, the pricing is really good!
It’s beautiful. Not keen on the wood flooring though. Luxury carpet and porcelain flooring would be great. But otherwise a great tour.
This was wonderful. To put it lightly
Absolutely lovely. Tell me you do pilates without telling me you do pilates. Hi Matt and Summer.
Thanks that you showed my penthouse. I bought it 1 week ago. Greetings from an wealthy german.
Thanks..Keep up the good work
The best presenter by far. Very professional and well spoken.
A terrace you probably will use once or at 6am on a sunday morning because of the noise
LOVE THANKS
i saw hannah's presentation and immediately subscribed. great presenter!
Beautiful. And great presentation.
The inside was too stark and modern but I did appreciate that they did keep some original woodwork and other features in a couple of the rooms.
Lovely presentation
Nevermind the apartment/penthouse! I will take Her ❤🤷🏼♂️✌🏽
Lovely apartment if you don’t mind the constant noise of traffic in central London.
Don't forget the 3AM "Oi" Drunkard 's Concerto by the St. Chav Choir of Tottenham.
looks and feels like a hotel spot, not a home :*
For £16m …. a gym, cinema and pool should be standard.
