Kinda made it sound like it was a result of some kind of deal he made. English is not his native language I assume, and it’s probably also me being way too high.

Got to thank Sebastian Forge for being a huge influence on our Tobey. He was, afterall, the one who kindled Tobias' passion for music. One good big brother he sure was.
@@pjomayo Ohhh okay, thanks! That's what even I was wondering how could I be wrong here. Btw that's news to me because "he is" happens to be my no.1 favorite. 🙂
The way his voice trembles as he talk about the "exchange" of his brother for ghost touches me deeply. It still hurts him a lot. Hes so transparent about himself i love that about him
Hearing Tobias’s voice quiver when he said “exchange” was a total kick in the soul. It must’ve felt like an actual deal with the devil at the time; a successful band, but it he lost Sebastian.
When I read this video has English subtitles I kinda expected it to be in Swedish. Then this guy starts talking german which is my native language really caught me off guard lol
It's the German dubbing! Tobias doesn't speak German in this, it's another speaker translating Tobias remarks from English to German. That's always the case in German TV, literally EVERYTHING gets dubbed into German.
Oh what a sweet man. I just adore his talent and way of thinking. Hearing him talk about his brother is heartbreaking but beautiful. Thank you Tobias for it all!!! 💗💗🎵👻👻👻😈😈😈🤟
What a great interview! One of the best! I'm only sad he may feel there was an exchange when he talked about the death of his beloved brother and his success. You deserve to be happy Tobias! There was no exchange.
It’s 1:30 in the morning, I’m tearing up hearing him talk about his brother and also I just found out that this beautiful location they filmed the interview in is 2km away from my house?? 😮
It's because German and Swedish pronunciation is more or less the same! They're related languages, german north frisian dialect aka low German dialect and Swedish sound extremely similar and many words just have a little shift in one letter from one language into the dialect of the other one and vice versa.
, Awe the tears in his eyes :( I lost my brother from undiagnosed heart conditon, he died in his sleep. I know how he feels but I wish him all the best and lots of love!!! I'm proud of you tobias! see you in aug!!
"to bang whomever you wanna bang" God damn Forge!😂 But all that he said is true. Religion would be much better without people threatening other people with the name of a god. Many religious people like to tell other people to do a certain something, or you will be sent to hell. This album was a blast just like all the others. TF truly has an emotional connection to music. Cheers.
I second this. I only understand English, so I can barely hear what Tobias is saying. I wish the overdub wasn’t so over powering, as this sounds like a really great interview.
As I wrote to someone else: Sadly there's not one, because this is from German TV... our German TV broadcasting is NOTORIOUS for overdubbing everything to death, overpowering the original voice till u don't hear it anymore, only the German translation. 🥲

Religion has always been used for social control, but pointing fingers at it does not make you smart, and throwing it all away will just leave you an even bigger set of problems. All religions contain within them the building blocks of enlightenment and the stepping stones to higher meaning in life.
Poor guy is still dealing with the trauma cause by the passing of his brother. I wish them the best, on his journey, and hope that he has the strength to come out of the other side, stronger, wiser, and happy. He's not happy, that's very obvious, and probably explains his misdirected attack on Christianity.

Really puts more meaning in "I'm with you always" 😭😭😭
Kind of gives that song a whole deeper meaning.
This music gets me everytime.

Love how the interviewer pronounced his surname the correct way.
Same in German as in Swedish. TOE-BE-AS FORGEH.
