      idk how it is there but in the US they just leave power on when someone calls and says they are moving or the house or business is closing because its easier than turning it off only to have to turn it back on again and they don't expect it to use more than a couple of dollars worth of electricity per month. that was explained by a power company employee. although with that place's heat still being on, even just a little, they should have noticed and investigated by now and turned it off. 40 years i can't believe they'd have left it alone that long really.
      they just forgot about it probably.

      maybe 20 years tops, too many "newer" crt tvs, late 90's/early 00's coke cans, and the tops label is a wny grocery chain and the same label they used in the late 90's

      Tony T They already said THE HOTEL that might be 40years old. And its owner changed so many times. And thats maybe the reasons why the exit, the bed, the tv, the floor, the door, and all that shit doesnt look like its 40 years old lol

    • @mrboojay
      @mrboojay 4 года назад

      Yeah I was wondering about that. No way exit signs would last 40 years and still work, unless someone was going in and changing the bulbs. Also they did say abandoned for 4 decades.

    Direct payment, there was someone recently found dead in their apartment after 3 years where the landlord checked on him from no use of water. Everything was on automatic payment.

    This kind of makes me mad.
    So many homeless, and this hotel sits rotting, WITH full electric, for 40 years! 😫

    • @rachels666
      @rachels666 5 лет назад

      Exactly! If someone could restore this beautiful building or at least get it cleaned up and let homeless people stay, it would be great!:(

    What a cool building! You'd think this one should've gotten some sort of interest since they're literally right across the street from Anmtrak / Via Rail & Greyhound Bus.

    Electric is still on. Heaters still running. This smells like they are waiting till the property catches fire and once it burns down they will build over it.

    Question if a place is like this do you ever try to Safe anything, Gosh I'd like the coffee cups with stripes hanging up. I wouldnt think it is stealing when things are left to decay.

    Deffinatly was still operational in the early 2000's (at least the Bar was). At 14:26 there are some Coca Cola cans... I Googled "Coca Cola cans early 2000's" and those were what came up on multiple images. 😊👍😉
