Ehhhh... It doesn't seem like any of them were truly being honest. Then all three of them were being zesty lol. Still, if you want answers from someone, then let them answer. Being emotional is no excuse. Everyone should demonstrate emotional intelligence. They screamed at him first. They wouldn't let him answer. If you aren't in a committed relationship with someone, at the very least, then you aren't privy to every detail of their life.
That being said, he was being a coward with DJ. Full stop. He should have been honest. With the other guy, it seems both were flaking on each other, but when JoJo flaked in him, it was a problem. His while demeanor was "how dare you!". Then JoJo was too riled up to talk to DJ, not to mention DJ was riled from hearing those two get loud.
Just things boiling over and immaturity on all sides. It's obvious all three weren't being honest though. Wouldn't be surprised if that one wasn't a setup.

Know what I've noticed in general? Whenever someone speaks about having the right, or any variation of it, they actually mean entitlement, and that's exactly what you meant. You felt like they were entitled to something. They weren't. He's not treating them like human beings? Seriously? Calm down on the hyperbole. Malik kept talking over him and was trying to pick a fight from the second he said he wanted DJ more. So he kept trying to trigger him, succeeded, and JoJo was about to leave entirely, denying DJ any kind of closure. They barely talked him into going back. So he was already pissed and his patience taxed from Malik. He and DJ didn't get the chance to really be honest to resolve anything. JoJo(just so much funnier than Josiah) was wound up and in full defense mode and DJ was anxious and agitated from having to sit there and listen to he and Malik talk. Malik was being spiteful and Catfish was being messy. DJ is the real victim on that one. But he still wasn't being honest because he didn't wanna be vulnerable after seeing JoJo get hostile.
Really. Watch that one again, and try to stay impartial. Malik was sizing up and comparing DJ. Then his ego got deflated when he got the answer he was pushing for. He's manipulative af.
