Last month my F-1 visa was denied in UAE, i initially thought that i panicked but now that i keep replaying what happened, i think i did well but it was just not my day, the Officer told me to re apply from my home country because my sponsor and family are there, yet i have been staying in the uae for 10 years with ties here. I respect anyone who has gotten there visa approved of late.
@DarkLord-pm1eg I meant I remember vividly how I answered the questions. They were over 6 questions, the officer never objected to anything I said, sometimes it's just not your day

My son went for F1 student visa interview two days ago and was denied. Reasons were based on 214(b) and no home ties demonstrations. Truly he was not ready because that was his first interview, which we thought everything would be about his legit documents. Learning from that, we started researching and watching RUclips videos to get him prepare because he wants to reapply. My question is , if he was asked what has changed? Is it okay for him to say yes and give reasons like, i was not prepared for the first interview because i was nervous and i have never had interview like this before, or, simply tell the officer that i could not articulate well in my first interview. F1 Visa was rejected in 2022 and visa officer only asked if student knew of someone for privacy reasons lets call this person Mary. This is the student's paternal Aunt who had gone to the USA with her 8year old son 25 years ago on a visitor visa and then overstayed changed to student visa and then just worked until now and never left the US. Student just said yes that was his aunt. Unfortunately, he never got the chance to explain that he was only a toddler then and has never seen this Aunt who has never returned to her home country. The student did not even know where exactly this Aunt lives in the US nor were they in contact. The Visa Officer just handed the passport back with a slip that said the student was not a genuine temporary entry!! What is the best way to present this interview now that the student has a new visa interview date?

However, I have read and heard ( Ben ) that IEPs are not looked highly upon, especially if I am from a country such as Vietnam. What is the best suggestion here: Still try to prep, or give up this hope and work towards applying to an actual college as an undergrad? I am 18, and just graduated high school.

Hello, my f1 visa got rejected four times under 214B and I actually don’t know what is the exact reason for that. In first 3 times I applied for the MSc. in spring 2024 and last time (this June) I applied for the fall semester for the same MSc. program. Location - Colombo, Sri Lanka University - Georgia State University Program - MSc. in Computer Science But, for all the four times my sponsor was my father’s elder brother. According to. my I20, I had to show nearly $19000 and VO asked lot of questions about my sponsor, my job and my salary.And my MSc .program was also in my husband’s university. Also I could not express my home ties in any of 4 attempts. Now I am thinking to apply as an f2 applicant in this November. And I’m currently working as a software engineer in my country. Is it possible to change the visa type and get approved under this kind of scenario?

Hello, to answerr fainace Q is it good answer? I have approximately $45,000 in my savings account, and my total investments amount to about $45,000. Additionally, my father, who is a businessman, will support me financially. He is a nuts vendor with two branches in our city and has an annual income of about 3 billion Tomans.
They are the same officers who denied and issued visas while they were employed as Foreign Service Officers on my tax money. Now, they are providing insights and techniques on how to obtain a visa for the U.S. Either way, they are making $$$$$
I would guess that when they were employed by the government, they were under different constraints and pressures by their managers. As VOs they had to fall in line or go home. Problem is how US immigration law is written. You’re assumed to have immigrant intentions and the burden of proof is on the applicant. If you got to no rizz, you’re most likely going to get denied.
I just got rejected this morning at Bangkok US Embassy. The worst part about the interview was the officer literally prepared refusal letter on the table even before the interview started. Every single Burmese people got rejected this morning. Look like they really hate Burmese people. 🥹

Does the migration officer call your university where you studied to confirm if the records of an applicant for f1 visa if it is genuine? Because my university is closed in our country but open in Kenya. So I wonder if my case can be the cause of F1 visa refusal

I got rejection last month for F1 visa in pakistan
And again i schedule an appointment but they gave me 1 year wait time
My question is why they gave me so long time as in availibility of appointment page there only shows 2 days

No, actually when you going to book slot in Ustravaldocs website there shows 2025 year slot not before that

Sir i got rejected from Hyderabad India consulate 5 july but i don’t know the reason
My university is westcliff university that is a private university.
Is that reason of my rejection because of private university please tell me sir

They are the same officers who denied and issued visas while they were employed as Foreign Service Officers on my tax money. Now, they are providing insights and techniques on how to obtain a visa for the U.S. Either way, they are making $$$$$
I would guess that when they were employed by the government, they were under different constraints and pressures by their managers. As VOs they had to fall in line or go home. Problem is how US immigration law is written. You’re assumed to have immigrant intentions and the burden of proof is on the applicant. If you got to no rizz, you’re most likely going to get denied.

I just got rejected this morning at Bangkok US Embassy. The worst part about the interview was the officer literally prepared refusal letter on the table even before the interview started. Every single Burmese people got rejected this morning. Look like they really hate Burmese people. 🥹
