The Machine is really interesting to me from a lore standpoint and as insight into Orcish culture and technology. Here, we have an Orc that was literally cleaved in two, yet his friends were able to not only save him, but give him a new body. Presumably, this is all done without magic. Compare The Stitch, who is an Olog that was decapitated. However, by his dialogue, we find out that it was due to the Ring's magic that he was made 'unkillable'. Not Elves, Dwarves, or Men are able to do anything like the Machine, even with magic. It makes you wonder if this is simply because Orcish medicine is THAT good, or if Orcs are, in some way, tougher than the other races. Imagine what Middle-Earth would be like if, without Sauron, or Celebrimbor, Orcs had no reason to fight, and they ended up co-existing with the other races and sharing their medicine.
orcs are disgusting and even with Sauron and Saruman and Celebrimbor gone they shouldn't join the free peoples in any way, maybe send expedition to Mordor to discover their technology, that's it

ikiga oh shrak... well, they're both awesome so i'm gonna recruit both of them anyway. Have you met any uruks/ologs with the title "Avenger" yet? I'm trying to build a team that includes the War-Hulk (the olog has to be green of course), the Punisher, of the Spiders, the Iron-Fist, the Hawke-/Eagle-Eye, and the Taskmaster (Trickster with the fastlearner trait, of course). If i know how to give a glob a title with the name "the Avenger", i'm gonna promote that one to overlord. And i hope he's a defender class, his shield will turn blue anyway after being branded. 😅
Pushkrimp the Scorpion yea met with avengers with many times and easy to get, the most common way is to kill orc and be killed by his blood brother then most of the time the brother will change the title to avenger. So taskmaster is like nick fury? That idea is brilliant btw, I might copy it...Haha JK maybe after I finished the hunt :D
ikiga feel free to copy it. :3 By the way, the Taskmaster is still the Taskmaster from the same show, and yes he's a fastlearner, getting used to things pretty fast. Now... time to assemble Middleearth's mightiest heroes... 😍 (I'm pretty sure there were 2 titles that i forgot to add in my list... oh, the Guardian and the Ravager, of course...)
Lord Morgoth in hell, that's a lot of presses on the ENTER key. To quote our poor broken machine. ARE YOU CRAZY?! YOU MUST BE CRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAZZZZZZZZZZZYYYYYYYYYY!!!
Funny thing is. I got a Machine to spawn for me right after a Took someone elses Machine from there Fort and it was some Orc I cleaved in half like 5 weeks ago.
6:47 interesting that he brings up the sun here. When a given star (like our sun) has reached the end of its "life", it will fusion iron, and inevitably collapse under its own weight.
Really annoyed once I found out he only shows up once. I accidentally deranged him into a "woo woo woo" guy after my first encounter (w/ a regular shame btw). Then I was further mocked as Zog ressurected him in the Coliseum In Minas Morgul where he did nothing but hiss at me.
1:46 *_"You cleaved to me in two. Any other Orc would have died but i survived. more than that I thrived. My brothers put me back together stronger than ever. But they didn't make me into what I am. You did. You created the machine."_* _Bolg The Machine_
I had a legendary machine uruk once... He was the best uruk I ever had, kicking everyones ass for me. He was arrow proof, frost proof, fast learner, no weaknesses and had the epic trait where executions can only be preformed from behind. But then on one dark night my castle came under siege, I died and he was captured, tied to a post. I went to save him but little did I know behind my back while I was fighting a far inferior captain he got stabbed in the gut by some lousy, skinny ass archer I didnt see. Who would of thought the machine himself who shrugged off arrows like flys and could of killed sauron himself would meet such an untimely end. I just hope my beloved robocop mkII comes back at some point pissed I let him die.
Thanks for sharing. That's what happen when you crossover 2 different stories from the realm of dark lord, magic ring, creatures, fantasy medieval to some robocop ocp gundam MKll and John Conor. Rest assure *He will be back*
I’ve had a couple machines, but remarkably none of them were really a big deal, I killed most of them very quickly. It actually kinda makes me feel like I’m missing out on something.
I really like they put the Machine in the Warmonger Tribe trailer and it was really funny how the Warmonger olog broke his back and they put in a canned scream in there
The machine,the unashamed,the poisoned/plague bringer,the flame of war,of the flies,the stitched,of the beasts,the twins,the tower,gold-thief,the dead,the ancient one and many more.
Kylar Stern I think it's more that they are extremely rare I've had three Towers appear in my game and two poison bringers It's a lot like how having orcs cheat death is kinda rare in the late game
Wrong, in the case of "of the flies". I had one in Morgoth, and one "Infesfed" in Minas Morgul. Just drop a nest of flies on two uruks who are terrified by them.
Ah the machine, the one character every single player runs into pretty quickly and no matter what they DID look like their appearance and voice changes lmao.
Thanks for sharing. Yea, its scripted/bound to happen anyway BUT some minor players still missed it no matter how hard they try to get this scar to spawn. Yea, the voice changed basically because its primary personality ran out of quotes so his secondary personality kicks in. Won't happen to normal player tho unless you intend to grind his quote out whichs pretty time consuming.
So, short tale. As I roamed through Nurnen, in pursuit of fresh captains to collect, I was greeted by your friendly neighborhood Rash of the Spiders. Guy can summon spider's, rolls with a pack of caragors, and has beast slayer. He also brandished two axes dripping wirh poison. As shot him continuously, I had to shame him to lower his level. So in addition to webs over his head like a hood and eggs growing on him, he has a brand in the shape of a hand on his face. I made him legendary. He can now also summon a groug and has thick skin. He awaits fools to enter his fort, like a fly to a spiders web.
Ikiga: you can't control the execution style but you can by restoring from save until you get the right execution Devastator: or keep killing more captains until you get a chance to have one cheat death as the terminator wannabe and/or the stormbringer #nevergotthestormbringerbefore
The version of The Machine I encountered had a shield, which usually meant having to vault over him to attack, but he had the Vault Breaker trait, along with an immunity to stealth attacks. I had so few options when it came to dealing direct damage to him, he truly was a beast to deal with.
This is literally either a Terminator (Which is unlikely), or an insane Cyborg from an Alternate Universe and is preparing to return to his Universe to destroy it
The Machine humiliation quotes: 1-The machine have a purpose. I'll let you think about yours. 2-This is work for orcs. You are not worthy of the machine.
Ah yes...The Machine. One day I apprehended an overlord who was from the feral/beast tribe w.e. I cleaved the petty orc in two and eventually came back as...THE MACHINE. He looks identical to the one here except he still posses the claws from his tribe and wields a cursed animal bone as his weopon. Hes been alongside me in fortress defenses and sieges. A truly capable warrior he is
When i first met the machine, i didn't really think much of it, so i killed him, ironically cleaving him. But he returned. We repeated this like three times, mabye it's just me but i could've swore he came back more and more machine-ier. Before i just threw up my hands and figured, any orc this resilient deserves to join my ranks
I remember getting this guy who went from a common archer who killed me and became Tark Slayer, who went on about how I made him, and then he turned into the machine.
On one playthrough, I ended up getting a machine that I killed, probably no more than three times in Minas Ithil. When I returned to Minas Morgul, he returned and then I recruited him. I think I made him my bodyguard in Minas Morgul after that.
Ishmoz the Machine was an uruk with a deep past. You see during an attack from Sauron on my fortress, Ishmoz the Record Keeper was captured. I freed him from an excecution soon after. However he betrayed me after finding i was too weak to lead my army. I felt it too inside considering i couldn't defend a whole bunch of my forts. I sliced him in half and he returned during my raid on a bodyguard's camp. He had become Ishmoz the Machine so after a long battle, i cut his head off and he became a full machine. Then i finished him off.
A Let's Player also got the machine. For him, it was that stealth killer you had to kill at the begin of the story in Minas Ithil. So yeah, he killed him and afterwards just went on, until he git attacked by the dude who was now a machine. Pretty sure he got killed by the machine. At the end of the gameplay, he finally got that orc, who was an overlord at that time, I think.
Thanks for sharing. The "Machine" scar is bound to happen and trigger very easily during the beginning of the game, whats tough/rare is when you try to get the scar to trigger for the 2nd time in the game :)
aha I got this sob a few days. I killed the kin slayer from the marauder tribe. and he came back as the machine but in the marauder tribe. btw good video friend. would have never knew how rare this guy was if I haven't seen your videos
Nice pal! Good for ya! Everyone will get to meet him at some point during the early game since he was the "signature" special scar of them all so hes bound to be spawn if you kill orcs often :)
This "The Machine" actually killed me, one of the only 2 that did. But I got payback and cut off his prosthetic arm and leg, then stabbed the torso. Then I finished him off completely when Zog brought him back in his ressurection mission. He said "Gaah Gaah gaaaah... gah" which I found odd for a pretty literate fellow before detaching his head. But the moral is: Don't underestimate the machine
Oh yeah this happened to me so there was this guy who's name was shag and I cleaved him he came back as shag the machine and I killed 4 times but he was dead for sure then I played the game for a bit and the mission where the zombie captains he was there but he got 1 shotted I was shocked as well and he said I'm stronger than ever but he actually didn't lay a finger on me and yeah that's my story
The first time I saw this orc, I'd done some pretty bad damage to his face prior to him becoming the machine. So my first had one of the metal jaws making his voice much more metallic. I fucking loved him
My machine came from an orc called Bagga the unclean. He kept beating me till our fight on the final mission, in which i cleaved him in 2, causing him to revive as The Machine.
My machine was a man named ogg. I forgot his name before that but he was an overlord guarding seregost, I recruited ogg into my army and made him my personal bodyguard, but then he died trying to kill another captain. Apperantly there was another captain near him so he was outnumbered, so I went to save him but then I was ambushed by a captain 10 levels above me, Needless to say I didn't make it to im in time. Few days later I see ogg again but, he had the title ogg the machine and he had an orange health bar. The bastard betrayed me but he was so powerful I didn't care, I just tried to dominate him, but he had iron will now so the only option was for me to shame him. Then I tracked him down and dominated him but in shaming him the first time it made him deranged. He became my body gaurd again but he was never the same.
Thanks for sharing. An encounter worthy of its own novel. And yea, shrakh happen when they guy you like betrays ya or go MIA or killed by lousier rival, etc etc. Mordor's life I guess :D
Hmm actually the "Machine" title doesn't limit to the machine tribe only and I know that. What I mentioned in this video was the 2nd machine I gotten in the game was from an orc from machine tribe and it seems to me only a machine tribe can get you the 2nd "Machine" in the game or at least in my game as I had cleaved through dozen tribes orc but only the machine tribe works.
I can’t get this image out of my head now just the gravewalker is about to die “now you know it’s hard to stay at the top” then the gravewalker just nods
I already got him in my first 6 hours of playing the game, but the sad thing was he came back as a spearman, and with no backup for him it was easy pickings, I hope sometime later he comes back but for now thanks for the legendary sword gubu the machine
Thanks for sharing. Indeed, the Machine scar is scripted to happen really easily in the beginning of the game except for the 2nd time (as video). Hope you get your Machine to cheat death 🤞🏻
Gentlemen, we can rebuild him, we have the technology. He'll be better, stronger, faster than ever before. He is.....The Six Million Mirian Uruk!!! *theme song plays*
This video may be 3 years old and you're the only source I've found that mentions a Legendary scar (The Machine in this case) to be possible a 2nd time at least. This means that possibly all legendary scars can happen again albeit at a diminished rate, with the conditions most likely being that the holder of said titles are completely gone from the game.
3 years old? Its just a number. Game is still pretty lit during the lockdown 😁 Actually only a handful special scars (legendary or not) could get a second time spawn per game and its pretty controversial too. Potential second time special scar (based on my experiments) such as Machine, Poisoned/Plague Bringer, Shamed/Bitter, Cursed/Doomed, Flame of War, Burned/??, Claw and a limited few. The dev make the game in such a randomize way where nothing is a 100% guaranteed 😅
I can't remember how mine was called but what I can tell you is that it was the first challenge for me as I encountered him first in Minas Ithil (he killed me 3 times) and then I killed him but when he came back oh boy I suffered. He just wouldn't leave me alone (once he even followed me to Cirith Ungol). At this point both of us would just killed each other time and time again I remember cleaving him at least 4 times!! At some point he even became overlord of enemy fortress. When I finally finished him for good he said that I finally learned. And yet he came back with Zog

In regard of your question bout BLight and Plague Bringer, both of them are the same personalities just like Pain Seeker and Pain Lover olog :)
ikiga oh shrak... well, they're both awesome so i'm gonna recruit both of them anyway.
By the way, the Taskmaster is still the Taskmaster from the same show, and yes he's a fastlearner, getting used to things pretty fast. Now... time to assemble Middleearth's mightiest heroes... 😍
(I'm pretty sure there were 2 titles that i forgot to add in my list... oh, the Guardian and the Ravager, of course...)

They should add an execution where you cut an olog in half.
Oh hell yea and adding in various of execution like bow, elemental and etc.

Thanks for sharing. He can show up more than once but twice max tho very rarely that would happen :S

AHHHHH STAPH IT JUST STAPPHH!
Rest assure

The machine became such a menace in my playthrough constantly dying and constantly killing me ,becoming immune to seemingly everything
Thanks for sharing. That machine you encounter just make arnold proud :D
I’ve had a couple machines, but remarkably none of them were really a big deal, I killed most of them very quickly.
It actually kinda makes me feel like I’m missing out on something.
are you crazy
I really like they put the Machine in the Warmonger Tribe trailer and it was really funny how the Warmonger olog broke his back and they put in a canned scream in there
😆🤣😂
What uruks/ologs only appear once?
The machine,the unashamed,the poisoned/plague bringer,the flame of war,of the flies,the stitched,of the beasts,the twins,the tower,gold-thief,the dead,the ancient one and many more.
Kylar Stern I think it's more that they are extremely rare
I've had three Towers appear in my game and two poison bringers
It's a lot like how having orcs cheat death is kinda rare in the late game
Wrong, in the case of "of the flies". I had one in Morgoth, and one "Infesfed" in Minas Morgul. Just drop a nest of flies on two uruks who are terrified by them.
Kylar Stern the tower can appear more than once
nemesis Slayer I can confirm this
I have this as my overlord in Gorgoroth. The Machine™ is more than just an orc. It's a lifestyle. Long live THE MACHIIIIIIINNNNEE

I don’t think his sholders can handle how absolutely bonkers you’ve made that boi
Lol! If you're talkin bout his pauldron that's some magnetism technology right there so he can definitely handle some bonker
If you get killed by more slaves you can find the "branded" guy, always talking he will always remember that he was a slave.
Won't happen to normal player tho unless you intend to grind his quote out whichs pretty time consuming.
he got saved by all his deranged minions when trying to get the execution quote xD
Crazy love eh ;)
I love how he keeps giggling through out the video as he kills people
You
MUST BE CRAZZYYYYYY REALLY REALLY CRAZZZYYYYYY 🤪🤪🤪
Atleast fixer apologised for killing the guy when you didn't want him to
HAHAHA!
Thanks for sharing.

The version of The Machine I encountered had a shield, which usually meant having to vault over him to attack, but he had the Vault Breaker trait, along with an immunity to stealth attacks. I had so few options when it came to dealing direct damage to him, he truly was a beast to deal with.
Thanks for sharing. Indeed, those are a chore to deal with but not impossible to take down. That's for sure 😁👍🏻
same i dominated him he is litterally unkillable for orcs
This is literally either a Terminator (Which is unlikely), or an insane Cyborg from an Alternate Universe and is preparing to return to his Universe to destroy it

The Machine humiliation quotes:
1-The machine have a purpose. I'll let you think about yours.
2-This is work for orcs. You are not worthy of the machine.
Thanks for sharing. Its useful for the other 😁👍🏻
Ah yes...The Machine. A truly capable warrior he is
This Machine scar appeared after the knife in the dark mission (which is at cirith ungol)
Bolg the Machine: From the moment I understood the weakness of my flesh, it disgusted me.
Bolg later understands that it's not the physical that makes one stronger but the soul, which clearly Bolg doesn't have and has slowly given away.
Nice. That makes me wonder if the machine top body and bottom connected by magnetism or something lol
Are you crazy? You must be crazy!

Says the orc who think he's the byproduct of machine THAN black magic

Thanks for sharing. From TARKEEE I just killed you to IF YOU LIVE LONG ENOUGH YOU GET RENEWED BY THE OMNISSIAH! 🤭
On one playthrough, I ended up getting a machine that I killed, probably no more than three times in Minas Ithil. When I returned to Minas Morgul, he returned and then I recruited him. I think I made him my bodyguard in Minas Morgul after that.
Thanks for sharing. Good for you, finally renewed by the steel! 😁👏🏻👏🏻

Nice read and cool. Ishmoz is one of the unique yet mystery and cool name especially the last time I saw was Ishmoz the Itchy (no pun intended)
That is a really funny name for an uruk.
xDD
A Let's Player also got the machine. For him, it was that stealth killer you had to kill at the begin of the story in Minas Ithil. So yeah, he killed him and afterwards just went on, until he git attacked by the dude who was now a machine. Pretty sure he got killed by the machine. At the end of the gameplay, he finally got that orc, who was an overlord at that time, I think.
Thanks for sharing. The "Machine" scar is bound to happen and trigger very easily during the beginning of the game, whats tough/rare is when you try to get the scar to trigger for the 2nd time in the game :)
Once again, Thanks dude I have him in my army now.
No way pal, I ain't doing ntg. Thanks for sharing and thanks to your nemesis system :)

aha I got this sob a few days.

Thanks for sharing. IF he says so then it is and since he couldn't even lay a finger on ya that justifies his "your stronger" fact 😁👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻
"Flesh is weak, the machine is stronger

*EMPRAHHH*
The first time I saw this orc, I'd done some pretty bad damage to his face prior to him becoming the machine. So my first had one of the metal jaws making his voice much more metallic. I fucking loved him
Hes truly one of the kind :)
My machine came from an orc called Bagga the unclean. He kept beating me till our fight on the final mission, in which i cleaved him in 2, causing him to revive as The Machine.
Thanks for sharing :)
A similar look is given to cleaved warmongers but they retain the "machine" title and stay warmongers
Wow rehgar has really been hitting the hard stuff
Just some "steel" stuff ;)
Have you ever seen the machine's exposed face after he came back from that grog explosion?
Basically just replaced by another scar head like potato bag or metal head, etc.
My Tark Slayer turned into a legendary Machine guy.
Thanks for sharing. Good for ya 😁👍🏻
I love it when you do that little nod
Nice that you like the way I enjoyed the game :)
I can’t get this image out of my head now just the gravewalker is about to die “now you know it’s hard to stay at the top” then the gravewalker just nods
Ah! Not sure it's good or bad for your overall well being tho but here's hoping all good for ya :D
can I say the machine is the only orc that isn't confused when you meet them after they killed you
Confuse as in they still sounds relevant to the event which happened before? 🤔💭💭💭

@@ikigaofficial WE BUILT THIS CITY!
Game is still pretty lit during the lockdown 😁
Actually only a handful special scars (legendary or not) could get a second time spawn per game and its pretty controversial too.
I remember my first time seeing a Uruk become the machine it recruited him don't regret it at all
Good for ya :)

Guy loves his steel
Guy agrees :)
Thanks for sharing. Atleast he became an undead in the end :)
