@@inigosb90 Hello my friend. As I know, Vivo on Oxygen OS is a global device and have full notifications on the lock screen and AOD. Ultra right now is using Origin OS, a Chinese Rom, it has limited support (as I understand by the local laws 🤷 Jackie Chan face) There is only messages, calls from LTE, and some Chinese services like delivery, taxi, trains, plains etc.
@@sagovana Russia, Europe, Japan, you won't get AOD notifications, and no Android Auto right now, I do not use android auto because I have custom system, I just do not like android auto. Otherwise I have zero problems other than couple of bugs here and there ones a year, that happen on any phone of any manufacturer. So for me it is the same experience, I used it with macintosh laptop, and with windows laptop no problem.
Very interesting... it has a lot more modes and options than the Oppo, whose user I am, but one thing I missed, and I found it strange, is the lack of the Ultrawide lens in several modes in the camera app, and another thing that bothered me was the limitation of only 20 photos in Burst mode... Other than that, much more customizable in terms of cameras and even in terms of UI than the Oppo.
@@isaquesperandio162 thank you for watching my friend. My guess that utrawide is not fast enough or something, wish it was not the case. Yes, 20 is max, but I kinda not pleased with burst mode on all modern smartphones, image quality is not there yet. I want to see 5-20 photos only, but they are full quality, and also in raw. It will be alot better than 100-200 bad quality photos.
@@AlienTechnologies33 What's the best Burst mode you know? As far as I remember, you didn't compare Oppo with the other flagships in your video, because for you it didn't exist. 😂 But you said the quality was good in this last quick video talking about ColorOS on Oppo.
@@isaquesperandio162 as for now, Xiaomi looks "better", but in my book it is still bad, I advice just to enter sport mode (shutter speed priority), "running human button" and make photos that way
@Sudip9 you go in Camera app, Portrait mode, press "face" button on the right, select Natural or tweak sliders by hand, and take photo, it uses computation and stitching magic for it
The best part is that it has info buttons ℹ️ it teaches you what each feature does and how and even when to use it, with text and pictures before/after
Many thanks for this great video, I just want to ask if there is any notification problem on AOD I heard that apps like Whatsapp or Facebook will not be appearedshow their notifications on AOD, is this right ?

@@AlienTechnologies33 i appreciate your reply. Do you think that vivo x100 ultra apply some softness and beautify effects on portrait photos even after disabling these effects? I'm just confused between it and oppo x7 ultra?
@@AlienTechnologies33 sorry for making it long. The thing is that i don't want these effects but on some photos it feels like even after disabling it, a little bit will be applied. Do you think oppo x7 ultra processing is better (for no beautify effects )? Because I'm so interested in portrait photos
The picture quality is very sharp., can you give me the google drive link of these pictures in original quality, so I can compare with my gt2 phone, because I am looking to buy a vivo x100 ultra
Hello, friend 👋 Can you give me an advice of camera settings? I use natural Zeiss profile and sharpness -35, saturation +20, brightness +10. With these settings i love the photos, they're didn't so digital look. But. Sometimes when i make photos of people, they have a weird skin colour that makes me frustrate. Is there an alternative? I tried to use vivid profile, but photos didn't have that real-looking vibe like from Zeiss profile.
@@romanstein13 I am making a dedicated color section in the new video right now. And found no phone that recreate it 100%, oppo made face to look more magenta, Google pixel made it pink and orange, IPhone yellow and green, Huawei made it unrealistically pale, Honor slightly more yellow, and I find Vivo more accurate, yet in Zeiss Natural it slightly increase tan and reds, I feel like that this is because of intense hdr. Usually I use Vivid colors, decrease sharpness to more extreme -66 and set saturation to -33 and I am okay with the results, I do the same with Zeiss Natural. Of course there even large cameras like Canon, Sony, Nikon need an adjustment for faces, so I guess we cant expect small smartphones to be perfect. But I feel your frustration, if you tell me wha is exactly wrong (colors, etc.) I will look into this, may be will try to play with portrait mode setting, and try to find a solution.
@@romanstein13 you can turn off HDR in the menu on top, it will drastically decrease "tan" effect, but in some situations it will remove highlights and give too dark shadows. But in some situations, with low dynamic range, you do not need HDR, and it can help.
@@AlienTechnologies33 right now i also have both vivo and oppo on my hands and made some tests. So with an indoor light i've an issue: with Zeiss profile - 1x and 2x are ok, but 3.7x makes my skin too tan with a little bit of a green tint. In a vivid profile 1x and 2x makes my skin too pale, but 3.7x is ok. In this condition Oppo feels more consistant and on each module my skin looks pleasant. If you would like, i can show you examples. By the way, today in Moscow i'm going to rock music show (Rammstein tribute) and i want to compare these smartphones in such difficult scene.
@@romanstein13 I tried to use Textured color, brightness +15, Saturation -15, Sharpness -66, I kinda like results right now. But need more testing, just experimenting in spare time. Can you please try it. Want to know what you think

I have 1000s photos from my traveling and vacation, that to this day are unedited, because I do not have time for this, may be in the future when I will print them. ✨But some days ago I have looked at those photos of mine, from 5d mark ii, from 550d, from canon eos m and m50... and some of them have too much noise, overexposed highlights that are unrecoverable, movement in shot in low light, and even details are not good... ✨I still love photography and want feeling of real camera, I am looking at Panasonic s5ii or s1ii or even s1hii for hybrid, because it has "real time lut" feature. But baked lut is not exactly the same as computational image. And still it is a specialty device and smartphone is a standalone multi-tool. ✨I really think that we can call it smart-computers with call features, instead of smartphone. Just a side "call" app on the same shelf as "calculator"
@@AlienTechnologies33 I feel the same way. I am a professional working photographer and have spent so many years of my life editing photos and carrying around heavy cameras and lenses, but when I'm traveling for fun I HATE all the extra work I have to do on a computer to process traditional camera photos, carrying around a heavy camera, switching lenses, etc. And all the extra work I'm doing, like stacking images for HDR, adding ND filters to get long exposure, stitching panoramas, adjusting white balance in difficult lighting, using a tripod at night, running images through Topaz AI, adding GPS data to photos, recovering shadow and highlight detail, noise reduction, etc are ALL DONE AUTOMATICALLY with smartphones like the Vivo. If a smartphone company like Vivo starts to make an Android interchangeable-lens camera, Nikon, Canon, Sony, Panasonic, etc are all SCREWED.

@@quachvanphuc6359 I will think about ways of doing it
Hello, friend 👋
Can you give me an advice of camera settings?
@@AlienTechnologies33 thank you very much for an advice with HDR, i'wll try it.

✨I totally agree. Yes, I can get a better shot with 2-5k$ camera, sharp lens, tripod, use laptop with editing software, take a heavy bag with me... but why? If it is not a paid job...
✨ I cant stress enough how obnoxious this editing boring part is.
