I find it highly unlikely the jury will convict her unless it is full of minorities, which I also doubt. Knowing how the judges in Marion County operate, even if convicted she will do minimal jail time.

The whole situation is a tragedy that could have been avoided if both parties would have allowed law enforcement to handle it. With that being said, Susan should do some time for her actions. This is a tragedy that could have been avoided with a little common courtesy this woman is probably going to spend the rest of her life in prison and nothing can be done to bring back the dead mom but probably a civil discussion instead of a screaming match and telling your kids to stay out of her yard and the whole thing never happened. People need to start listening and talking and compromising this is how people live together peacefully

The whole situation is a tragedy that could have been avoided if both parties would have allowed law enforcement to handle it. With that being said, Susan should do some time for her actions. It's a cautionary tale of if you have problems with your neighbors do not set foot their property because this is a trigger happy society.
