I was rewatching this mv and just noticed the way music notes and dynamics were used on the rabbit's hat to help tell the story !! When Kaito holds it by the ear, the eighth note turns into mezzo piano, then into pianissimo when it's on the floor (maybe to represent how small/quiet she feels), and when the she's crying while holding the rabbit, the note on it's hat is a whole rest (i think to represent how she feels powerless and unable to do anything). Then, when Luka saves her from the men, the dynamic on the rabbit's hat changes to fortissimo, which could represent how she feels stronger and more confident around Luka. This song is so good and the mv is filled with so many details, truly an amazing video !!

I love how Mitchie M is one of the few Vocaloid producers who still use the Cryptonloid characters in their stories with varying roles. It further enforces that the Cryptonloids are puppets that one can give life to, which is reminiscent of the early days of Vocaloid such as The Evillous Chronicles.

My timeline/theory after listening non-stop (even though it’s not hard to interpret (ㆆ_ㆆ), Miku was born into a family of DV, her father (Kaito) abuses her and her mother (Meiko), Miku finally had enough of it and runs away after graduation with no plan; she ends up getting harassed on the streets, but fortunately, was saved by Luka who’s a gang leader, Miku, a girl with no plans, decided to follow her and became her disciple under a new title (same name) 魅红www. After a while in the gang (probably), Miku made an enemy The Twin Cats (Kagamine twins), and gets too cocky thinking that she could beat them but couldn’t. Miku was depressed after losing the fight so Luka gave her a new bike and a knife to cheer her up. Miku uses the knife to harm Len (probably why he had a cast later on) and “felt like I (Miku) was the strongest” meaning that Miku actually didn’t get stronger herself, it’s just that now she has a weapon (metaphor to smth maybe?). Kaito later sees what happens in the news and decides to take Miku home and repeats DV, Miku snaps and kills him, getting blood on her boots tinting her future (aka the reference to bloody boots). At the very end, she continues with the teenage game with the Kagamines where they conduct a test of courage to see who hit the brakes earlier (I don’t think the point of the game was to fall into the ocean). Rin hits the break first, but Miku continues to drive into the Ocean probably because now she’s got nothing to lose anyways. Luka tries to stop her but failed. You can see that at the very end, Miku’s face looked as if she was still letting her anger out. 3 possible endings here, either Miku died, or dropped into the ocean and swam back up then continued a life of crime, or she becomes deep sea girl (深海少女) kanashimino umi~ lmfao. Overall Miku’s life/story is just depressing despite this song having a lively tone. Why tf are all of these sad songs such a banger? (╥﹏╥)
I know why she did it... Even after she killed her dad, his blood on her hands, face, and boots as proof, she still found herself very angry. Angry at everything. Even though they're rivals, Rin beared witness of Miku murdering her father. Either Rin understood the feeling, or she just noticed that Miku was going faster to the end of the cliff, for someone who was meant to stop. Rin tried to prevent her from doing so, but she had to catch up first. Miku could no longer live with all that rage. Her pain never stopped, no matter what she did. She didn't see a future for herself. Even if there was, it would be stained with blood. The exact same as her childhood. Miku ended her own misery... I know because I understand that pain.

Spoilers: . . . . It's after rewatching that you notice that Miku didn't really have any thoughts on the eventual outcome of the race, with her looking straight ahead instead of Rin's face. It's looks like a look of Determination but, while it certainly is that, it also shows that the rivalry with the twin cats was very much not on her mind anymore at that point.

My timeline/theory after listening non-stop (even though it’s not hard to interpret (ㆆ_ㆆ), Miku was born into a family of DV, her father (Kaito) abuses her and her mother (Meiko), Miku finally had enough of it and runs away after graduation with no plan; she ends up getting harassed on the streets, but fortunately, was saved by Luka who’s a gang leader, Miku, a girl with no plans, decided to follow her and became her disciple under a new title (same name) 魅红www. After a while in the gang (probably), Miku made an enemy The Twin Cats (Kagamine twins), and gets too cocky thinking that she could beat them but couldn’t. Miku was depressed after losing the fight so Luka gave her a new bike and a knife to cheer her up. Miku uses the knife to harm Len (probably why he had a cast later on) and “felt like I (Miku) was the strongest” meaning that Miku actually didn’t get stronger herself, it’s just that now she has a weapon (metaphor to smth maybe?). Kaito later sees what happens in the news and decides to take Miku home and repeats DV, Miku snaps and kills him, getting blood on her boots tinting her future (aka the reference to bloody boots). At the very end, she continues with the teenage game with the Kagamines where they conduct a test of courage to see who hit the brakes earlier (I don’t think the point of the game was to fall into the ocean). Rin hits the break first, but Miku continues to drive into the Ocean probably because now she’s got nothing to lose anyways. Luka tries to stop her but failed. You can see that at the very end, Miku’s face looked as if she was still letting her anger out. 3 possible endings here, either Miku died, or dropped into the ocean and swam back up then continued a life of crime, or she becomes deep sea girl (深海少女) kanashimino umi~ lmfao. Overall Miku’s life/story is just depressing despite this song having a lively tone. Why tf are all of these sad songs such a banger? (╥﹏╥)
I know why she did it...
Even after she killed her dad, his blood on her hands, face, and boots as proof, she still found herself very angry. Angry at everything.
Even though they're rivals, Rin beared witness of Miku murdering her father. Either Rin understood the feeling, or she just noticed that Miku was going faster to the end of the cliff, for someone who was meant to stop. Rin tried to prevent her from doing so, but she had to catch up first.
Miku could no longer live with all that rage. Her pain never stopped, no matter what she did. She didn't see a future for herself. Even if there was, it would be stained with blood. The exact same as her childhood.
Miku ended her own misery...
I know because I understand that pain.

Notes de traduction pour la version française :
1) La Chicken Race est un jeu dangereux parfois pratiqué entre délinquants japonais. Elle consiste en un duel dans lequel il faut faire la course en véhicule sur une falaise, tout en fonçant droit vers le vide. La première personne qui s’arrête a perdu, et est considérée comme une poule mouillée, d’où le nom de cette pratique.
2) De ce fait, il y a une ré-occurrence logique de ce terme avec チキン女 (Chicken Suke) pour indiquer que Miku est perçue comme une poule mouillée, pour rester dans le thème.
3) Au moment où Miku parle de son père pour la première fois, elle prononce l’expression “DV” qui est l'abréviation de Domestic Violence. Elle a été omise de la traduction pour éviter d’alourdir la phrase, étant donné que le visuel comble cette notion.
4) ヤンキー : "Yankī" est un terme courant pour désigner les jeunesses délinquantes au Japon, principalement lors des années 1980.
5) Quand Miku se présente, son prénom usuel (ミク) est retranscrit en (魅紅). 魅 est le kanji du charme et l'envoûtement et 紅 est le kanji de la couleur rouge/pourpre.
6) Le prénom de Luka, quant à lui, est d’habitude écrit (ルカ). Il est ici retranscrit en (流迦). 流 est un kanji pouvant signifier “style” ou “mode” et 迦 est un kanji qui n’a, à priori, pas de sens précis, et sert uniquement comme composé phonétique.
7) 夜露死苦 : Cet assemblage de 4 kanjis assez inhabituel se lit “Yoroshiku”. L’écriture classique de ce mot est pourtant la suivante 宜しく. Il est d’ailleurs écrit la plupart du temps en hiragana uniquement よろしく. La nuance entre ces écritures est importante à souligner, car, bien que 夜露死苦 possède plus ou moins le même sens, il est connoté. Ils trouvaient ça classe d'écrire des mots ultra-compliqués pour rien, un peu comme lorsque les français utilisent de la langue très soutenue sans réelle raison, et que ça finit par paraître ridicule, pour faire une comparaison. Parmi ces expressions complexes, on retrouve aussi, par exemple, "je t'aime". Normalement écrit "Aishiteiru" (愛している), il est alors converti en "Aishitenryuu" (愛死天流).
10) ヤンキーホーン : "Hōn" provient de l’anglais "Horn", qui signifie en français “Klaxon”. Les "Yankī-hōn" sont des sortes de trompettes apparentées à des klaxons, installées sur les véhicules des Yankees. On peut d’ailleurs voir ces mêmes trompettes à plusieurs reprises dans le refrain lorsque Miku conduit.

It's after rewatching that you notice that Miku didn't really have any thoughts on the eventual outcome of the race, with her looking straight ahead instead of Rin's face.
It's looks like a look of Determination but, while it certainly is that, it also shows that the rivalry with the twin cats was very much not on her mind anymore at that point.
