Thanks for following my suggestion and including a fair share of vehicles in this battle report! It was also a good idea that both forces left their lascannon teams at home otherwise the vehicles wouldn´t have had a chance to shine. Epilogue: Typhon´s remembrancer, Poxus Abyssmalus, filed a complaint in the spirit of the Geneva Convention in regards to his master´s demise due to excessive use of weaponry employed by the Iron Hands´ Vindicators. Sadly because of the Ruinstorm the complaint needed 10K years to reach the vast bureaucratic halls on Terra. Adding insult to injury a malfunctioning servitor erased the complaint upon arrival in it´s databanks instead of storing it in the archives. As soon as this happened all psykers on Terra woke from their sleep and the only thing they remembered from their dreams was a bird-headed monstrosity which shrieked with mischievous laughter.
It was nice to field some vehicles, cause you're right. Lascanon heavy support make taking vehicles a tough choice. But then again, I don't think we realised how strong the laser vindis were going to be 😂
Next report we have more rolls in it. For some Bat Reps we shorten the coverage due to filming availability. For key rolls we always film them and add if they had impact.
Great battle report guys. My two favourite "second armies" (having minor detachments of each, including their Primarchs). Alpha Legion is still my true love though 💗 Kudos for tweaking the armies to work around the brittleness (sounds nicer than uselessness) of vehicles in 2.0. Also a lesson in 'the game isn't over until the last turn'. After the first turn, I had completely written off the DG's chances of winning, just for the victory points proving me wrong (and proving the importance of focusing on things that matters) making it a lot more interesting in the end!
At about 2:40 I genuinely thought Jason had modeled the banner with a thunder hammer and bolter. I enjoyed seeing the armor. Makes the army showcases even sexier, and spices up the game.
@@fareastwargaming Oh wow hahaha hadn't even clocked the channel name seems far more obvious now. That's awesome is there a big community there? sick report btw
There's a growing community for Horus Heresy out here. The increase in releases from GW has definitely helped. We are trying to slowly coax more of the community to feature in the channel, but it's a slow process 😂

Thanks for the support. Yeah. The format for the SN battles is pretty well structured. We've got more of their missions to come.
Great battle report, thanks guys! Great to see those tanks!
Our pleasure!
great game it was fun to play both your armies
Glad u liked it!
Great game keep it up!
Thanks, will do!
Did the IH player not make any of his “it will not die” saves to regenerate hull points on the vehicles?
Haha, I think I made 1 all game, and the rhino never re-mobilized itself either 🤦♂️😂
Time point 11:09 you stated you are going to "run" the grave wardens on the right-hand side of the board. Grave wardens are heavy and cannot run.
Thanks for pointing that out. First time Richard's using Grave Wardens, but should have caught that since it's Cataphractii armour. 👍🏻

Yeah there's less love for armour in this edition cause of how squishy it is. Was nice to play with it though. But man... Those vidicators 😅
Odd question but why are you guys wearing the flag of Malaysia?
Not an odd question. Far East Wargaming is based out of Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, hence the Malaysian flag 😁
