What do you use as your Bulli van SEO? I’m nervous about trademarks. I know you’ve discussed that in another video and made a tutorial maybe using kittl. It’s hard to find which videos 🤪
@@hannahebeling sorry, let me clarify. What are some ways to find other words. I know that for example Volkswagen is a trademarked brand. Do you just use-Bulli, hippi van, ect? Not sure what words will allow me to show up - I’m afraid most buyers won’t find it if they don’t know how to search for it if they don’t realize we aren’t allowed to use trademarks. Ty Hannah!!
I really like your videos. I'm guessing you have made many videos about it so far, but I'm curious how a person starts. I have a business making ecommerce websites so I understand all that side of it. I'm curious starting out, before you qualify for Amazon, how do you get to Amazon? How do you get started? Etsy seems very niche or local. Shopify you have to pay to enter, which as a customer i would never do. After you have your artwork, what do you do first?
hey hannah, I have 0% sales in etsy pod on tshirts, I just want to try different Items u said in this video, Im just curious that Do i have to open a new shop for those items or continue with the old shop and upload items in it? and my store has 0 sales and reviews and its been 1 month since opened
Etsy offers free shipping for items over $35. So for your sweatshirts that you charge $49 for, do you add the entire shipping fee in order to offset that cost? It seems like it would be such a high selling price w/ shipping fee and would deter buyers from purchasing the item. Thanks for your help.
@@hannahebeling Is the shipping fee that you charge part of the $35 threshold mark that gives the customer free Etsy shipping? Sorry if my question wasn’t clear earlier.
I'm confused on the pricing. You did the cost and shipping, then you did the customer price and also charged shipping. I don't understand. At 1st I thought you were doing free shipping but you are charging shipping as well as paying shipping. Please explain so my brain understands. How would you do free shipping in this scenario? I was trying to have comfort colors and sweatshirts with free shipping and now I don't know how to do that. LOL Thanks Hannah for this video on pricing as I've always wondered about how to do it the proper way.
The calculator just has you put in every cost that you will be charged. If you choose to have customer pay less, you would put the lower amount in the top section. Each product has a different price to ship.
@@hannahebeling So if I wanted to do free shipping and the shipping was $4.75 I would double the $4.75 under my shipping? I want to edit my prices now, just want to be sure if I would be correct in that. Thank you
I wish i can get that exact price which will be the perfect way to make the customers feel that the price of the tshirt isn't way too high and neither too low which may make them think it to be cheap. But looking at the competition really makes me overthink about pricing. And why do I always feel like you are making plans to take over the world when you are off camera? 🤣🤣 just kidding. Don't mind me.
Hahah! What I have found in my own POD journey is that if you are making unique products and designs in more specific niches, a few dollars doesn't make a huge difference to a buyer. But, if you are trying to compete with thousands of say teacher shirts--buyers can find almost anything, so they are likely to consider price a lot more.
@@hannahebeling thanks for the info. You are indeed correct about it. I need to some more more niche hunting and maybe find something that can be added to my store.
Excellent! Love that you understand business practises!
Glad you enjoy it!
I think this is my favorite video on this channel and it's very useful

I use the free Trademark Electronic Search System website to check everything.

Thanks for watching! I actually have tutorials on getting started on both these platforms. You just have to scroll a little bit back.

I almost always charge shipping, but you could experiment with both and see what performs well for you!
