For those who are not in my Discord server, I have so far finished nine out of twelve chapters included in this campaign, and I will - I HOPE - finish the whole thing by the end of 2024. This has turned out to be an enormous project, but with this update the campaign has also taken something of a different meaning for me. Sylvanas has always been one of my favorite characters in fantasy overall - dark, complex, ruthless - and is a major reason why I started to create my campaigns, and later my own stories. After the way her story ended in Shadowlands, Curse of the Forsaken has become something of a way of preserving who she really was and what made her story so compelling. To me, this is the definitive story of Sylvanas Windrunner. I hope you will enjoy it. ☺

Rise of the Blood Elves was the first custom campaign I ever played, and curse of the forsaken was a really good conclusion to the story. I didn't think it was possible to do better than version 3.0 in terms of gameplay (it's still one of my favourite tech tree out of any warcraft 3 campaign) or cinematic, and I cannot wait to be proven wrong !
This is like one of the best all time Custom campagins and im so glad your making it compatible with reforged Cant wait to see this masterpiece come out
This looks incredible bro, I love the concept and always wondered what a more direct transition from wc3 to wow would look like instead of the 5+ year gap we had in between TFT and Wrath. Can't wait to check this out!

When you are done with CotF, are you going to do Rise of the Blood elves? In a custom remake of that campaign, the creator added in a buff and debuff system, depending on how much mana the elves had. I can't remember the creators name, but Jayborino did a play thru of it. That would make a very interesting mechanic to the your custom campaign.
I would like to do some sort of small update for RotBE, but currently I don't plan to do anything on the scale of CotF Classic. I plan to focus on my own original writing after finishing this.

Great job with the editing and music..I dont care the graphics of wc3 if its that good from a story perspective - so this is a mod - playable in reforged grahpics aswell?
i really hope tirion and the ebon blade/darion and muradin appear here. the ebon blade and tirion especially since they're SO important, and ashbringer is literally key to arthas' downfall. also maybe shadowmourne?

question: this new version will be more lore accurate with wow?. like that the battle for the undercity happens after the wrathgate and no before?
A few things are more in line with WoW. But in general it will still remain as it was. The battle for the Undercity still happens earlier.

Yes, you'll just need to switch to classic graphics. That can be ingame in the options menu.
