I've come to really appreciate this figure and it's currently in my cart for purchase. Before I figured it was a figure I could do without but, man, after seeing him he's so cool looking. One thing I would have loved was for Hot Toys to possibly create a deluxe version that would have alternate armor pieces for army building. I'm thinking perhaps a complete set of plain armor pieces that could be mixed and matched with the white stripped plates currently on the figure. Now that would have been cool. But the one piece they provided would suffice and I'm glad they provided it.
Love this figure, i just got mine the other day with Rex.I think a lot of collectors are passing on this figure but they well may regret so.The less armoured and muted tones look is fantastic and really makes the figure differ from all of the other Mandalorian figures.Another solid release from Hot Toys,love it!Awesome review Justin, thank you👍🏻

This is my favourite type of Mandalorian. The promotional images are so cool. I pre-ordered the Hasbro Vintage Collection figure. I can’t wait to get it.
With the 3D printing of the pieces the possibilities are endless. A whole bunch of these guys would be awesome. Just paint the armor and bam! I'm stoked to see all the moducase videos coming!!! That's gonna fun putting in the figures.
I agree 100% with the color scheme and size of the figure. I also like how he can be used as a crossover character. Another great review to add to the hype. I’m also super excited that for the first time I will have the figure within just a few short days of your review and Ryan’s review.
Oh my goodness this figure looks absolutely badass!!! I wasn't sold on the design of the longer rifle blaster until I saw this review. The details look great, i just wish the scope was positioned forward on the barrel a little more. I've always loved those Mandalorian pistol designs, and they look excellent in 6th scale! I'll never be able to afford it, but i can always watch this video lol

Hi Justin! I’m so happy they made this great looking Death Watch Mando! He’s clearly looking very similar to other Mandos but we’ve all been craving having a legion of Mandos mainly because they look so cool. And as expected his armour and size are very close to Din but he certainly has a different feel to him. He’s a bit more cool with the blue color and I love the jet pack and accessories we’ve come to expect with mando figures. I’m hoping that they intend to provide even more Mandos like this one since the lore supports a bunch of them including more of the Visla clan and Wren clan. Mist importanly I’m guessing this is one of the Deathwatch crew which we have about 4 Mandos from the crew but there are so many more that I’m hoping to more see from that clan in the 1st season of Fett and 3rd season of Mando. Maybe we’ll also see more Mandos with armour or sets like the Armourer. This is such a great time to be a Star Wars fan. Thanks for the video 💎😊
I'm so sad I had to cancel it due to the early releasing that messed up my budgeting but will definitely pick these up if I get a chance later on even at a higher price

I remember watching this episode and being absolutely drawn in by the blue armor. This is, next to Mando's armor, is my favorite style of mandalorian armor and honestly if I was only going to get one Star Wars figure (besides someone obvious like Obi-Wan or Mando) this would be the one. I love your review comparing it to different figures and he is just a beast! Imposing, tall, buff. It's like Captain America put some Mandalorian armor and he looks amazing!!
Great vid. So I respect how collector's formulate their reasons for justifying multiple purchases of the same figure. My wife caught a peak of some of my pre-orders and said why was I buying the Coruscant Guard and the Transport Trooper since they are practically the same. Now I know she was saying that to get under my skin since I have a lot of figures and whatnot but I was like WTH are you talking about (different design, paint apps, etc.). I then caught this review and saw what you said about the alternate thigh plate so I showed her. When she heard what you said she was the one who lost her mind similarly to me earlier....so thank you Justin for making my wife's brain implode.

OK… You did it, Justin. I even watched Jedha’s video on this one and felt no need to have this in the collection. But your video did it. Not sure why but the lighting on your close-up shots made the paint application and coloring on the armor look incredible. I just ordered and he will be displayed with Heavy Mando and Beskar Mando.
Im glad they made the boba fett helmet the standard mando helmet, it makes sense also having them have din's armour makes sense as he was apart of death watch so he would have all the same armour
I just used up my reward points and a coupon on the Clone Wars Darth Maul, because I don’t have any other Maul figure, but now after watching this, I’m going to HAVE to pick this up before it becomes impossible to get. This figure looks absolutely incredible. It’s so simplistic, but so great, it’s one that shouldn’t seem like it would stand out, but it will become one of the stand out pieces of a collection. Can’t wait to have him with The Armorer and Mando in my cabinet.
I finally picked up a second one. I took the holster from one and added it to the other, added the different thigh plate and a pancho and boom different figure entirely.
I'm tempted to pick this guy up to. But since I'm not a Mandalorian fan, he would definitely be part of my Clone Wars collection. You look pretty cool posed with the Clone Wars Darth Maul.
Just wanted for everyone to know that’s it’s possible to get to the fat suit underneath, and to cut/ remove the the upper part of the figure all you need to do is aim the arms down ward and take off all the armor and the flight suit is connected by velcro so there no need to worry about damaging the back of the flight suit when putting back to together.

Death Watch Mando uses a Mandalorian Assault Rifle which has a capacity of 500 shots with a range of 130 meters (optimum) & 300 meters (maximum) and the Hand Blaster is the Mandalorian Blaster Carbine

I want to like this Mando but just can't get over the fact that its a repainted Din - shares too many armor pieces. I wish it had more original armor, a crotch plate, shin guards, better boots (not generic muddy looking Imperial officer style) and a real Mando style belt. Having said all that, I may still get it HaHa
I'm not a fan of the Mandalorian at all, pretty much everything Disney I hate. This figure could definitely be used for a Clone Wars figure. All that said I debated on getting this because he's just so cool looking. But, besides Darth Maul, I stick strictly to the saga episodes 1-6. And Jango is the only Mandalorian I need.
ugh, i wish they didn’t use boba’s helmet. It’s not accurate at all. This guy’s helmet should basically be a jango helmet. The sides are straight and not flared out.
No doubt , starwars is the biological child of hottoys. others just adoption😆 they put more effort on star wars figures, the material, the details,..... so awesome
