This surprised me. I turned my PS5 on and seen it in the PS+ catalogue. I instantly downloaded it and have been loving what i have played so far. I will definitely be buying the physical version of one is released.
It's great to hear that this game lived up to the hype and that you had a great experience playing it. I'm looking forward to playing it as well, though I'll probably wait until the physical release comes out. That isn't to say that I'm not excited for it, I just have a huge backlog and my current Fear & Hunger obsession is taking up a lot of my free gaming time at the moment. 😆
It seems like every review has somethung amazing to say about this game. It was my most anticipated game of this year for me, howver I do like the game, it is good but not great. Im 20 hours in and already have quite a few gripes woth the game. First being lack of exploration, you go from one dungeon to the next, i need a bit of break and do other stuff. Avoiding enemies can be tricky and once youre in battle theres no escaping. Also the enemies only drop loot that is food for recipes that are only for healing hp/mp which isnt much of an insensitive, would of liked it if they dropped rare item for crafting, which is another thing, no crafting or making unique weapons or armour, the weapons are very basics. Thry introduced fishing which Ive liked in previous jrpgs however in yhis its teally basic, the fish you get just turns into food ingredients. Im hoping i enjoy the game more at some point. I do have remember that this is an indie game and no a big bugdet production, I still prefer Chained Echoes, now that was an amazing indie rpg

I already bought Sea of Stars on Steam, but have yet to play it. I had a really great feeling about how great it would be, even if the demo scared me a bit with its difficulty (and lack of accessibility/difficulty settings at the time I tried it). I figured the full game would offer a way to make it a bit easier, and it's a relief that it does. The more I watched this review, the more I felt like I made a really great choice in picking it up on release. I'm looking forward to giving it a go. Thanks for the video.

This game looks amazing. I haven't played the demo yet, I might scrap the demo and play the full game when I can instead. Final fantasy 8 is definitely underrated 👌🏻I truly appreciate the review, man 🤙🏻

SoS is great. GOTY so far for me. I only have minor complaints about the writing. The worst is that the story doesn't start in the first 10 hours. If someone likes the demo or the first 10 hours, their mind will be blown later.

Playasia has physical switch multi-language version available for preorder. And iam8bit will be putting out a (Hopefully USA) physical version as well, so keep an eye on them too.
This game looks amazing and I can't wait to play it but the question of the day, is it as good as chained echoes??
I personally preferred this game as it sticks to pretty much everything I loved about classic JRPGs
