What you say at 7:14 and onwards, I absolutely agree. Sure, bands can remain stagnant once they find that one formula that works for them but were is the creativity in that? If you are an artist you should allow different things to influence your style. It's what Linkin Park did and I loved them for it. It's what the German rapper Casper does and not one Album sounds the same. Same also for Slipknot. They all have that core thing that is THEM but they allow styles outside of the formula they know to influence them and it keeps/kept them sounding fresh and interesting. True artists.

I was one of the only girls I knew that was into metal, heavy, black metal. They definitely sound more "pop" nowadays but I love them 100% either way. Maggot for life.
When this song was released, I dropped everything I had in my schedule and listened to the song. It was playing on repeat all day long, and I showed it to everyone! This will be super awesome and crushing at festivals this year! I can just imagine their headline gig at Download and Copenhell to be one of the best experiences ever - as it usually is!

These guys have ALWAYS known how to reinvent the wheel and make it sound amazing in a different way each time they put out a new record. The beginning of the song with the falsetto actually reminds me of "You can't always get what you want" by the Rolling Stones but in a different context...maybe THAT'S where the "mad scientists got the idea from"...who knows...what i can say is that i literally cannot wait for the album at this point...by far one of my favorite bands of all time, and this song along with their first single "We are not your kind" have me wanting more!! ALL HAIL THE KNOT!!!

I think it's sad that so much people only react to the sound but don't hear the words to understand the singers emotions too, most people only say ''yeah nice sounds, beats, screaming, and so on'' but there are only a few like Alex Hefner who react to the REALLY full song.
