Won't lie Jay did a bang up job on drums, I do miss Joey but they nailed it with his replacement.
Agreed... I do feel like jay is in his prime with slipknot now. His stuff on the latest releases has been flawless 🤘
He's an amazing replacement. He a lot of fun to watch too, his odd little dances, he's a showman for sure

The cinematinc on the music video is from the new Amazon TV "The Boys" imagen the Justice league but on today society, the show is awesome n is hard graphics.

Smoking and drinking helps with screaming it's just not advised because it's obviously bad for you
Agreed. Had a similar thing happen to my voice when smoking. My screams where deminishing over time. Now it's definitely coming back. Quitting smoking affects a lot more than people realize.

Ryan Bailey it can help some people, but it doesn’t always work for certain people. Bruce Dickinson of iron maiden mentioned this in his biography, to summarise he said that some can be benefited by drink and smoking but he can’t do it without trashing his voice
@@adexitum yeh it will kill you clean vocals but it generally helps with harsh vocals tho as I said it's not advised

This album and tv series were fucking awesome.
The only people who say that Slipknot have lost it over the years are not actually into slipknot the idea.
They also ignore the fact that they lost their bassist Paul. All Hope Is Gone was a dissociative album whithin the members. Joey basically laid some drum tracks down and the band went off of his tracks... The only 2 "bad" albums. I literally love both of those albums out of all their albums including MFKR and Crowz....
You may hate me for this, but it's like the kids who only recognized My Chemical Romance like 5 years ago. They say they miss MCR and they want them back, but I can guarantee when they come back, the ones who wanted them to be back will not give a shit about the band anymore.

we call those type of vocals "growls" or the opposite of his clean vocals "unclean". There isn't really one specific name to call it tbh.
Tbf at this point I'd take the term "screemo" as a badge of honor

C J Adding on to this, a very famous photo in UFO crowds (which has been debunked) was taken there, known as the Solway Firth Spaceman. I suspect the location’s history with that photo is the inspiration for the lyric, “Here’s an unexplainable one!”

I can't even describe how happy I am that they brought back the brutal intensity from their self titled album and Iowa! I got chills when I heard Corey's rage and screaming again. To top it off it feels like Jay channeled Joey's brutal beats from the first two albums. I truly feel he's a big reason why the band brought back they're heaviness. I think Jay strongly influenced that. Super happy with just these two songs from this album so far.
Damn this song is so good. Slipknot seem to have a new lease of life and this is the best Corey has sounded in YEARS!

Me knowing that I'm still under 18 and still playing guitar along and headbanging as hard as I can.
It's for a new Amazon prime series called the boys. New show that just started. It's about super heroes who face no consequences if they accidentally kill someone innocent. A vigilante group forms to try to take them out. Main character falls in love with one of the supers yadda yadda you guys can figure out the rest.
Slipknot still demonstrates the beasts they are after all these years :)
I recommend you listening and, IF IT'S POSSIBLE, react to some music from Epica (Symphonic Metal) and ArchEnemy (Death Metal); these bands are spectacular and awesome, girl. I know you'll like them :D
