Good job Tati. Please Note: in Ivory Coast , depending on your tribe, the food is prepared differently. Palm nut is a specialty of Bete tribe. What she just did is Djiblé mélangé à la graine.
Tati , Ghana also has different foods and depending on which part you realise that the basic food you may know is prepared completely different between tribes. Until you have explored Ghana from South to North , east to west you will not know.
In my tribe , we prepare the meat first along with some onions , salt , crushed pepper, crushed shrimp, dry fish and then we add the palm nut afterwards and then fresh tomatoes , Adjovan and we cook it slowly then we mix the onion , fresh pepper and tomatoes and we add back the crushed ingredients and then we cook it slowly and then kablè spice at the end 😋😋😋 😋😋
There are two versions of this food in my area in Nigeria, the ofe akwu version eaten with rice and Banga version with akpu which you just called placali or starch... Here in Cameroon where i am married they have a version made with afang leaves called eru by the Cameroonians and eaten with boiled cassava. It is called kok. African food is generally the same just different styles of cooking. Nigerians put lots of meat, dried fish and dried crayfish in their dishes and they don't eat alot of fresh fish in their dishes. Here in Cameroon people eat more of fish than meat... Still the same food to me .. thank you for showing us another side of Africa.
I Like your personality, hope to meet you one day, simple and being yourself is the best ,you enjoy what u do and that’s what make u unique, may the protection of God be with you and family including your team, blessings
In the 70s on a trip back from whilst waiting to check in at the airport,a large crab escaped from a Ghanaian woman's luggage causing havoc in the airport.i had never seen a crab that big. We were told Ivorians don't particularly eat crabs so they are big in size so Ghanaians returning to Ghana would generally buy some from specific spots.cassava banku is made by some parts of Ga adangbe and ewe people .thank you TT another great authentic video
Ghana have a lot of fish, go to the market n see the kind of fish we have, the only fish some people no is tuna mackerel, but ask different people n u will no the kind of fish we no n eat, the banku is called f)f) in language, only cassava dough,...
It's nice seeing in your video one of the popular foods in Nzema. One other thing I noticed was your dressing (the ankara cloth tied around your waist)which is typical amongst the Ivorians. Keep it Up. Ayekoo 👍
Taty! Eieeee, this lady you are now a champion of international languages💥💥💥! You had the French, English and Twi all mixed in there. Nice🔥🔥🔥! Only language missing was the Italian. In all seriousness you have a gift of language. You are blessed🙏🏿. Super interesting to see how Ivorians prepare their food🍴. Our methods of cooking in Ghana is a rather involved process. Ivorians are simple and straight and from your reactions, the palm soup was super tasty. Many ways to accomplish the same goals is what I say. They seem to use a combination of gas and naked fire to cook. Just my observation. Your content is fire🔥. Lest I forget, I really like how you narrated at various points in the video. Such a move, really lays things in context for the viewer. Liked that a lot🔥🔥🔥! Where is Ala? He did not participate in eating the food? Give him some food🙂. I also noticed you are creeping towards 40K. Yesssssss! As always great content and you always deliver in that regard. Keep the content coming for we are forever fans!
I think clab is one expensive fish everywhere, this is soo interesting, cook palm nut first before adding everything, it's good they eat a lot of fish instead of meat, the food look inviting paa Tati from the way you are enjoying it it will taste delicious paa 😃beautiful vlog🤩
Hi i was thinking about either going to cote divoire or mali any suggestions or recommendations especially for mali bamako is it safe to travel as a westerners regardless hoping somebody answers me
I don't understand these people commenting under her video saying she is criticizing Ghanaian Food if she like the way of this palmnut soup is her choice let her be is it your mouth
The more they critique the more they psychologically want to watch. It's an advanced branding technique. We love you. Setting the pace for Food Wars soon. It's now Ghana 🇬🇭 , Nigeria 🇳🇬 and Ivory Coast.
I think it's the fact that she continued to hammer home her opinion that Ghana did not have certain things and people are just surprised because we DO have lots of veggies, lots of fish, lots of different foods depending on which part of Ghana you are in and how much you are willing to spend. Her tone also did come off a bit critical 🤷🏽♀️
Your content is excellent, please do more videos exploring other West African counties while exploring and comparing differences and similarities in dishes.
I'm Ivorian and the way she's cooking like the process it's different from one ethical to another. As the way, she cooked the soup in my community it's not like that.
@@TatianaHaina She is a pretty lady and seems calm, she reminds me of when i used to live in one of the border towns in Ghana with ivory coast call Akaatiso, the French women likes to wear blouse at the top and a peace of clothe around their waist as she is wearing in this video
Good job Tati.
