I made a second world war montage using clips from these films:
Saving private ryan
Band of brothers
Talvisota (The winters war)
Pearl Harbor
I know there were more countries within the alliance who were involved in the war, but had no space and time for them, so I took the best.
song lyrics:
You never lived to see
What you gave to me
One shining dream of hope and love
Life and liberty
With a host of brave unknown soldiers
For your company, you will live forever
Here in our memory
In fields of sacrifice
Heroes paid the price
Young men who died for old men's wars
Gone to paradise
We are all one great band of brothers
And one day you'll see we can live together
When all the world is free
I wish you'd lived to see
All you gave to me
Your shining dream of hope and love
Life and liberty
We are all one great band of brothers
And one day you'll see - we can live together
When all the world is free

Thank you for sharing this with all the people who wished to see the sacrificed of the men and women, as well as the band of brothers, during WW2 to set the world to be free.
I love this so much!
Katherine Jenkins owns this anthem.
No. The brave young men of Easy Company own it. As do all of the other young men who fought and sacrificed so much for preserving the freedom of this great nation. The men who answered the call of duty, the men who who heard the eagle cry when it was wounded. The men who fought in countless battles against a battle hardened enemy. The men who pushed and trudged on no matter what. They, They own this theme.
Wonderful... Thanks for emotional song ....
Very moving song.
Well done.
So much Respect for this Video !!!!
To bad I can only give u 1 Respect, i would to give 10 if possible!!
I shook a soldiers hand at the supermarket today, he burst into tears as it is the first time a person understood and shook his hand! :( And Im 14 years old, its a disgrace if you ask me. These men deserve respect!
Japanese, Americans, Canadians, British, Germans, Italians, Romanians, Russians and all the countries that fought,
they rest in peace
its fair that you also showed german soldiers :)
They also HAD TO fight for their country... most of them did not join by choic!
and they had to make through the same horrible war 'till they lost.
Dedicated to all
family members who were in WWII.
@TobiWobi7 Actually those are Finish Troops in " Winter War", but your point is well taken.
war is comming again...but war comes silently
It was sad how in Band of Brothers that like a medic would go to save somebody and get shot :( I am still thinking about going to the army and the next few years. Saving Private Ryan,BoB and I think I've seen PH
@Diablotion
He probably meant the Finns (they had similar helmets)
you got the intro music from conker live and reloaded am i right? :D
So much fucking respect for this Vid!!!
To bad I can only give u 1 thumb up, i should give 10!!!
Respect!
Where can I get this song?
I was wondering if the scenes containing the Finnish soldiers came from a particular movie ?
*sniffs* Chateau nerf....
yea, i know but thats how it is...
ill be going to the military too...
What was the song at the beginning? Fanfare for the Common Man or something else?
Wonder why there are so few band of brother clips...
The movies you have used Saving Private Ryan, Band of Brothers, enemy at the gate, Pearl harbour and some real photos
@jojoarzate nope
I'm french , and without Americans soldier , I will be russian
There were more British and Canadians who went ashore on D-Day, but the Yanks get the publicity. In the film The Great Escape it showed Steve McQueen escaping on a motorbike - in fact there were no Americans in the camp at that time!
Military Romans, you are lost
Theres Germans And Americans. But no British? Russian? etc etc
Offensive to use movie clips.
Band of Brothers is great, Private Ryan is good, but Pearl Harbor is terrible.
