These two gentlemen's videos are a source of continual fascination. I always link them to Beethoven's esteemed acquaintances and imagine Carl Czerny to have been similar to Bruce and Anton Schindler - to Michael. Bruce was kind enough to send me an incredibly detailed email about octatonicism - showing an amazing generosity. What an incredible artist his brother was - as Bruce is an incredibly gifted musician, composer and pedagogue. The lectures of Michael are nothing short of spell-binding, and Bruce's analyses of works are essential viewing for anyone interested in music, both amateurs and professionals.

Hello to both Mr Adolphe and Mr Parloff! Please tell me think what you think of my Schubert Final Years Pastiche playlist (the Klavierstuck is new and impromptu~4). I have now learnt Schubert's Klavierstuch #1 thanks to your encouragement. ruclips.net/video/z4EATu9_T28/видео.html

Many thabks again for your stunning lectures and talks! I'm off to listen to Bruce's G major quartet one now (not just the 2nd mvmnt). Maybe Mr Parloff could do a talk based on The Dent series Tchaikovsky book? In it he says it is not clear as to the cause of Tchaikovsky's death. My teacher is from both the Beethoven libe and the (through Tanyev who taught Nikolaev) - the Tchaikovsky line. Pity i'm no good.
