@3:43 Tip: Use Aperture priority and set "ISO AUTO Min. SS" to 1/500. And set ISO to "Auto". Camera will shoot with selected aperture AND keeps shutterspeed at 1/500 or faster. No need to fiddle with ISO manually :)
Just my thoughts on approaching people for photos. When you just say “can I take your photo”, there is no context as to why and the first thing people are going to think is, “why does he want my photo”. So I have like a solid 95% success rate when I give them honest context first. Meaning, I say , “I’m doing a photography project and am taking photos of strangers, can I take your photo”. It’s honest and I find that people generally want to help when they know what you’re doing.
@@samsonbk4719 yea exactly but most wildlife photographers use tripods as the animals can move wherever so if they don’t use a tripod it would be a really shaky photo

This was fun to watch. I noticed how much trouble you had keeping the image still in the viewfinder. That's par for the course with a long lens, though.
Good shit man, this kinda video is exactly what I want to be seeing before deciding to make a purchase. Just someone out shooting non-stop and displaying the shots with the settings. We already know the specs, we don't need to hear them over and over in YT videos. Cheers for this

Cloudy weather really is the best for most photography with people or faces. Just gotta be careful of rain if your camera or lens isn't weather sealed!
Advices to take different photos: stick to one lens, take different perspectives, use different daytime, meet another photographer and observe what he does, try out new styles (if you shoot mostly people, now shoot buildings etc) and always watch what others do and get invited, buy a book of steve McCurry for instance.
