Riding The Blazing Fury At Dollywood - Pigeon Forge, TN

We took a ride on the Blazing Fury at Dollywood. This rollercoaster opened in 1978 when the park was still Silver Dollar City.

I'm definitely NOT a coaster enthusiast, but I love this ride for so many reasons. The theme is gloriously corny, it's a fantastic escape from the weather, especially the heat, and every ride is a little differnt.
First time I rode, I couldn't believe those drops were only 15 feet....

Btw, this is the last year for Fire In The Hole at SDC, I hope they never close Blazing Fury but it'll probably happen sooner or later......sadly
