This is a great movie for schools to show children. It teaches children that words can be harsh and really hurtful. ❤❤❤❤
I totally agree. I wish we could have seen the teachers perspective from this as well because they can also learn!
I love the movie!!! The way he made friends who didn’t care about how he looked or what people think shows young kids today that don’t judge a book by its cover. He learned how amazing of a kid he is and how he is a great person.

Definitely a very good film. The prequel comes out in October called White bird.
I had no idea it had a prequel! Definitely will be looking out for that once it comes out!
@@Distantcritics yeah it came out in Europe already and has been delayed for the past two years. I had a very rare opportunity to check it out early already it wasn’t as good for me as this movie but, it had its moments.

@@Distantcritics He’s not in it. It’s one of his classmates and his grandma. Helen Mirren is in it.

I’m a physically challenged person. I hate the terms disability and handicapped. I understand that those terms are more widely used, but I prefer the term physically challenged to describe my personal situation, being that I’m a wheelchair user. That said, I absolutely LOVE this movie, and I adore little Auggie! Every scene was perfection!

I’m sooo looking forward to seeing the movie White Bird, which is the continuation of Wonder. If you haven’t read the book White Bird, I urge you to read it. Auggie & Me is also an excellent book! I just love the whole Wonder phenomenon!
