Great tour, Britt ! You’re right, Wetumpka has a great mixture of an old downtown and outlying shopping. I thought you were about to show some paddling footage on the Coosa River !

Thanks! That would have been a really good idea to do if I had thought of it :-).

I grew up working on the “Big Fish” house. It was in my family since the early 1900’s. My grandfather sold it to the BF movie group.

Someone down below commented that the house burned , but that’s not true right? Because Im planning a trip from Costa Rica to Wetumpka just to visit the Big Fish movie locations😊

I lived there all my life, and we never heard a word about this alleged crater. Sounds like a PR hype to me.

Hi, we are thinking about moving to Montgomery for a job opportunity. Is there any areas you would suggest? I have three small children, and I want a nice area, with things to do with the kids. Schools are important to us, as well as family life.

My house was built in 1861. I find newer houses to be an abomination. A waste of resources.

No man, I thing you are confusing a house that burned to the ground on the abandoned movie set of Spectre from Big Fish
