I've been super curious about how crunch would work at the studio, especially with game dev! I'm excited to see whats to come from GC, and the eventual prototype!! As a currently employed game designer, my biggest advice is to get into the trenches (support or tester roles) and learn everything you can get your hands on. You will get so much experience in just a year it is unbelievable. And those are the "empathy" roles, you will then care not only about the design but also about players even more

if you are looking for playtesters, we both stream, create video and worth with publishers on playtesting, TTS moding, and most everything.
