Dear Catherine, I am everything but not a DIY girl, but it’s so lovely to see you turn everything in something beautiful, together with the lovely music, is better than any kind of Yoga to me, thank you dear and have a lovely week ❤
Your vlogs are just lovely. When I see one land, I make a cuppa and know I’m in for a lovely few mins/half an hour. You’re such an inspiration and an amazing young lady. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your day and creativity with us. 🤗
Great ideas! Here is a good project for the fabric bag. You will need batting, wool or cotton, and some fiber fill. Cut the batting to fit inside the fabric bag. Put one piece of batting on the bottom, then the fiberfill, a handful of dried lavender, putting the last piece of batting on top, basting around all four sides. Place this batting sandwich inside the fabric pouch, sewing the end closed. You now have a scented trivet for a hot pot or dish from the oven. The heat will make the lavender make the room smell wonderful.
And here I thought it was just me! I can’t let go of a cardboard box. It’s one of my trade marks! Coworkers and friends hang on to empty boxes until they can ask “do you want this one?”, or “look! I saved this for you!”. For the record - I do put them to good use 😂. Another inspiring video Catherine - thank you
You come up with the best ideas! Those sachet bags must smell amazing. I love how you left one open (like a little feed bag) and used lavender like little picks standing up. Too cute!
Ah Catherine please bring some cheer, crying watching the news on Shane McGowan, mum's favourite song was fairytale and I can't listen to it since we lost her 3 yrs ago, be even harder now, hope you're OK my lovely, you're so talented ❤
The bag! I would frame it! Or use it as decoupage. Exopy coasters with the box or a tray. ❤ I would run out of almonds b/c I would eat them. The fabric has so many options. The colors remind me of spring. I want to turn them into the inside of a pocket which would be a lovely surprise of color or the inner cuff of my favorite coat.
That almonds wreath looks sooo beautiful, great diys Catherine 💗👍👍🎄... the only diy I have done with empty boxes wrapped them up pretty to leave under the Christmas tree so it doesn't look lonely after opening the gifts😊
Thank you for sharing another lovely video. When I think of the boxes and bags I’ve tossed, just makes me think…what a waste! I’ll be looking at everything differently going forward! Take care.
A great use Catherine of the packaging etc. I love loccitane and I am reluctant to throw any of the packaging away. It is expensive but they do packaging so well.
Love these ideas Catherine. I can never pass up a pretty box either. I actually won a craft competition at our local village show with a set that I painted then decoupaged and added clay work to, I was quite proud of those. Lol.xx Love the kittens making an appearance Xx
Hi Catherine! Love all the projects. I thought of a project for the paper bag. You could cut strips of paper 6" long by 1" wide. The strips could be made into a paper chain for your niece and nephew to count the number of sleeps until Christmas.
Happy Thursday! All three of your craft projects were cute and would be fun to do with children for the holidays. Something that I thought of to do with the gift pouch fabric was to rip the seams out to make two pieces of fabric and sew them onto a t-shirt or apron as pockets. I'd keep the string at the top and knot it on both ends as an embellishment. That fabric is so cheerful! Have a lovely rest of your week!
I love watching your videos Catherine. When I saw your wallpaper I knew I had to use some on my living room wall. My husband put it up today and I’m loving how it’s making my room look so cosy and cottagey.
Grateful for all your creative ideas -- I'm definitely going to give that almond wreath a try! I've upcycled many sturdy gift boxes over the years by covering them in fabric, or paintable anaglypta wallpaper, but my favorite method was to paint the box with an acrylic paint and then emboss it using metallic embossing powder and a heat gun. You can either draw your own design with a pen and sprinkle the embossing powder over the ink or use a pretty stamp with an ink pad.
Oh for some cool weather we are having 33-35degree days and it is only 1/12! Enjoyed the upcycle hints. Love L'Occitane so you are lucky to get some lovely gifts, their packages are so lovely. Glad those gorgeous kittens didn't cause havoc while you were working with that lavender. Greetings from Australia
Lovely video. Ya I can't let a nice box or bag go either! And like you I'm always wondering what to do with them. I say I'll keep them for gifts ( but i never give them away!😅)
This was fun. I enjoyed each project. I have a box where the lid is attached on one side and opens like a book. I’m trying to figure out how to make it a journal. All suggestions welcome.
Hi Catherine, wonderful upcycling! This has been so much fun to watch and really inspirational. Love seeing the kittens. Thank you for sharing. Lots of love Kathy x
Wow thankyou for the great idea. The almonds would have been eaten before clued on this side😂😂 but love the idea with the gingerbread men and Snowflakes❤❤
Thank you for the inspiring video. I love all your creative ideas and happy attitude. You are such a lovely person. Looking forward to your holiday ideas. I live in florida and one day hope to visit ireland.

Totally agree 👍 👍👍
Those almonds wouldn't last long enough for me to finish a wreath. 😁 Very pretty Catherine.
Thank you! 🤗

I would make a garland as well, but with tiny houses instead. Thank you for the lovely video!

Happy December 1st Catherine. It's raining here today in Ohio USA. 👍👍👍 as always you have some lovely ideas and a wonderful imagination.❤❤❤

Always love your ideas. If you used a sugar solution for glue on almond wreath you could eat the almonds or hang for squirrels or birds. Take care
Great idea, would honey work?
Lovely video. Ya I can't let a nice box or bag go either! And like you I'm always wondering what to do with them. I say I'll keep them for gifts ( but i never give them away!😅)

Little birdhouses or greenhouse for the tree!
Brilliant ideas! X
Wonderful ideas!❤
Thank you! 😊
Love this sending it to my crafty niece ❤👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Yayyy hopefully she gets some inspo 🫶
Great ideas Catherine...you have to hang the almond garland out side for the birds...or would the glue be harmful???
The glue would be harmful, but you can make almond bird biscuits and stick with honey 🍯
I couldn't make the almond wreath. Afraid I'd eat too many while making it and not have enough to
finish!
So easy to nibble on them 🤣
❤❤❤
❤️🎄🎄
❤
👍👍👍❤️
👍🏼🤗❤️
I loved all your ideas for upcycling, but my favorite was the garland. Hopefully, the kittens won't get their sweet paws on them.
ThT’s creaTiviTy👍
