It was a bit meh for my tastes, felt like they weren't using the full cast as well as they might have done but it seemed like it was improving and the team was growing into making a really great show out of it. I'd say if it had gotten a second season it would have become something well worth watching even if the beginning was a bit slow and predictable.
I watched the first four seasons and I am mystified as to how it lasted. It was literally doing the same thing over and over again, each character had a set type of offensive humor, Max was poor people, Caroline was rich people and airheads, the cashier was black people, the owner was Asians, the cook was perverts and the polish lady was foreigners. The humor was really offensive which honestly I don't mind but it was always the same kind of offensive, it was funny at first but when you can predict how each character will react and know exactly who and how is going to point out an innuendo it becomes kind of boring. On top of that it never ever progressed, every season the girls would get a break, then suffer a setback and end up right back at the dinner like clockwork, one of them would get a boyfriend and they'd be gone before the season was out. It got to the point where you could literally watch the pilot, then watch an episode from season four and unless you hit on one of the like six chronology relevant episodes you couldn't tell there was three and a half years between the two.
Quinn Sinclair it was very by the numbers, which was at odds with the raunchy humor and low brow jokes. I actually liked it, but it was always easy to see why others didn't
Sleepy Hollow immediately lost a large portion of its fanbase when Abby's character was killed off. The interactions between her and Cane were the appeal of the show.
yup because of walking dead and game of thrones these tv shows think they need to kill all of their characters the problem is these other shows have terrible writing and the chemistry between the actors is all that keeps them together and they always choose the most important characters to kill off just for shock value not realizing it makes their fans feel like the show doesn't care about them so why should they continue to care about the show
Game of Thrones and Walking Dead don't kill off characters for shock value, it's the way the source material was written. With the exception of some tweaking the story for the transition to the screen, that is the way those stories have been written.
Your followup comment helped to clarify your OP, it makes more sense now in that context. I have read the books and comics for some time before either was adapted for the screen and have been an unintentional snob online because of that.
The terrible change in direction for season 4 of Sleepy Hollow killed it. I couldn't make it through an episode without feeling the urge to balance a check book because it would be more interesting.
Christopher Panossian I agree. It was their relationship that made the show work and I just didn't like the changes that happened this season. That new guy Dreyfus was more annoying than sinister
how about just stop making superhero shows? they already consume more than half our movie market every year. IMO its just watering the whole genre down.

Another reason "LAST MAN STANDING" got cancelled was because ABC/DISNEY didn't own it. Also with it going into the next season it would get even more expensive because of contract negotiations.
Diarra Harris Yup!! But no one wants to realize that. Easier to read some sudo political site that says " snowflakes ruin all great shows "... If it was so great and didn't have contract issues, Fox wouldn't bargained or picked it up themselves.

+Sarcastichuman Beingsarcastic No chance since it'll feature his "clean-looking" alcoholic father & religious nut of a mother....and the fact it belongs to CBS.

I thought Scream Queens was on hiatus because they make the episodes for the Halloween season. I really enjoyed that show, sad to hear it got cancelled. 😢
Yes Swag that would've been amazing. Too bad Fox wasnt smart enough to move the show to FX. I read somewhere that the show was under a two-season contract and after that it would be up in the air for possible cancelation or if it did good for a possible third season. I'll miss this show and its characters.
sleepy hollow was good only for the first two seasons after that it went down the drains especially when they introduced soppy love stories. Unbearable.
skydaplaya6 You're right. North Carolina vs Michigan State. You must have the memory of an elephant because that clip went by way to fast for me to notice and remember.
They're British. We don't know fuck all about the NBA (unless you're one of those weird teenagers at school who pretended to be American for a few months because he found out his grandma ma was impregnated by an American G.I during WWII) It's was a ham fisted attempt at being inclusive toward Americans.
From what I understand she did it to herself by asking for Big Bang Theory money on Sleepy Hollow's budget it was already failing and she refused to negotiate so...
MrElionor I did stop watching it. I still like the show as a whole but I didn't like how it was progressing. I've rewatched seasons 1-3 countless times. & "wish it death"? It's not that dramatic. The shows cancelled, move on. Just like I did when they killed off Abby.
Kenyada Blalock Well getting canceled is a shows death it's only dramatic if you make it but fine you haven't really answered my question why are you so happy with the shows misfortune if you moved on?
MrElionor like I stated in my original comment after the way they treated Nicole & how they pushed Abby to the side the 3rd season really turned me off. I'm not shocked it's been canceled. Am I dancing around with glee because a show I was rooting for is over? No. I had a lot of hope for this show but unfortunately it wasn't able to continue with the momentum it started with.
So Sleepy Hollow has been cancelled. Damn! I'm disappointed, but not really surprised. I had a feeling this was going to be the final season, and it was going downhill, but I'm still sad to know it's gone. :(
So stoked "The Catch" has been axed. My folks watch that shit, most mind numbing stuff you've ever seen. Told them they're risking dementia watching it
If you don't agree, then that's your opinion, and I totally have nothing against it, but I said I recommend it. If you choose to watch it or not is your own choice, and you don't know if they won't like it. Everyone has their likes and dislikes. Just because you don't like something, doesn't mean they someone else would agree.
The problem is American shows tend to be the same. 2 broke girls, Kevin Can Wait, Melissa and Joe, Last Man Standing, The Big Bang Theory etc all have the same kind of comedy. It's the same thing over and over. After time views drop because it gets stale very quickly. Even things outside of comedy tend to have the same qualities the camera angles, lighting, tension, mood etc. There are some trying to be different and get the right age group. But they tend not to do well or last. Like some an this list good reviews but not getting the viewers in. Shame there are a few gems out there.
That is why I mostly stick to watching Japanese Anime. With those series they are allowed to be as original or as creative as they want to be. You also get to appreciate things like animation and artwork that goes into making them. They are allowed to tell any type of story they want while combining a bunch of different Genre's all together to create them. While in the US it seems like any time a shows tries to do something original or creative they will just end up getting cancelled for doing something new. Like look at how many shit Law & Order, CSI and Medical Drama that are on TV that last for season after season. While in Japan you can make a series that is about the last of the human race having to fight against giant human like creatures that kill humans by eating them. Yet never see anything like that in the US unless you watch Rick and Morty.
As an anime fan myself, to be fair, anime can also get repetitious, and fall back on familiar stock characters and tropes, as well. It all depends on what the studios think is "hot" at any given moment.
Im an anime fan myself, but american tv for the past 10 years possibly has been in a golden age. Only a mere handful of anime even compare to the quality of story telling and acting many american shows have offered, and with that same logic to be honest, Id say 98% of anime is pure garbage with utterly dumb stories and invincible characters. No anime will ever be as funny as The Office. No anime will ever be as compelling as breaking bad. And in term of pure writing quality and creativity, shows like fargo, leftovers, mr robot, veep, silicon valley, and so many more, make even manybox office movies look downright silly. There are to my knowledge a handful of good anime that have come out over the past 5-6 years, (kill la kill, one punch, space dandy, to name a few), but also so many bad ones. Im not an anime expert, but I would assume the number of great american shows to come out in the same period greatly exceeds it.
Allen Blaise IDK for me Space Dandy is funnier then any show I see on TV other then Rick and Morty and Bobs Burgers. Then nothing has also captivated me more then Spice and Wolf. But thats just for my taste. Seeing how their aren't to many shows I watch. Other then Gotham, Better Call Saul, Bobs Burgers, Rick and Morty and Modern Family but thats about it since im picky and I don't have the money for premium networks so I can't watch the shows on those channels.
Oh I didnt know that, thats sad to hear. But regarding her job, one door closed and two opened. She is appearing on the new Star Wars movie (her second appearance) this year and the upcoming season of AHS too. So I guess it worked out for her.
All things told, I think she'd prefer to have her mother and grandmother; they were all quite close. And no new doors needed to open for her to get appearances in her mother's most famous franchise and the other series from the showrunner of the show she was on.
Ren Cen I liked Son of Zorn. Tim Meadows was great. Even at its worst, it was better than many shows that lasted 5+ seasons (e.g. Two and a Half Men, According to Jim).
live ratings are still useful but have become unreliable when determining what shows should be cancelled or renewed, with the rise of people using streaming services, waiting for shows to finish so they can binge it or straight up pirating shows, live ratings arent the best indicator anymore, i dont watch any of these shows so im not to fazed by them being cancelled but i dont want one of my favourite shows getting cancelled because of live ratings numbers...
TheBlasian96 Yeah but live ratings numbers influences ad sales revenue for broadcast (not the only one sure but a big part). So broadcast channels' management cares about them a lot, hence the decisions.
But they don't make as much money from streaming services or binge watching, and they sure as fuck don't make any money off of Pirating. There's really no reason to renew a show based on any of those things.
Sleepy Hollow being cancelled doesn't surprise me. They messed that show up when they killed off a main character. All the rest I never bothered watching because I either didn't care or thought they wouldn't make it to begin with.
5:50 While the show aired on ABC, it was also a co-production of 20th century Fox, who were shouldering a lot of the production cost. However, 20th Century Fox's agreement expired after six seasons, so ABC would have to pay for the entire series on their own. Since the show was a comedy that starred Tim Allen, they may have decided it was just not worth the money despite the high ratings. However, Fox has expressed at least some interest in picking up the series and distributing it on their own channel, so if you were a fan of the show, you might just see it back on the air.
As much I was a fan of Joel McHale on Community, the Great Indoors was TERRIBLE. It felt so forced, and McHale doesn't work well in the multi camera sitcom format. Hopefully he'll be back in something more suited to him.
The things is that NetFlix cant buy everything because of licensing agreements.. Some shows have international copy writes and rather make no money than let NetFlix have it.
Raven Darcy . sadly it was announced a month ago that Netflix wont be streaming season 3 of Young Justice. instead we have to wait for a new online channel DC Access to start up sometime next year. they're releasing it
Last Man Standing was cancelled due to politics... just not there kind everyone thinks. While Tim Allen's views probably didn't help him with the very liberal ABC, LMS was canned bc ABC bought the rights to American Idol, which led to FOX (who owned LMS) jacking up the price to show it. So, 1) Needing time for AI on the schedule, 2) A more expensive product, mixed with 3) The contracts of the cast were coming up, led to ABC deciding the show was no longer needed. Sucks, but that's showbusiness.
I really liked the Sleepy Hollow show. The issue is that after the first season, it became a typical bullshit crime show. That's the biggest issue with these shows on prime time local channels. The writing goes to shit and because they are cancelled so much they don't do any long term planning.
It was improving, felt like the writers weren't sure what to do with the setting at first but they seemed to be improving. If it had had more time I think it could have been a decent show.
The "original idea" you mentioned isn't even actually theirs. It's the premise to Marvel's "Damage Control", which was a comic they announced they were going to make an ABC show, but then DC/NBC swooped on it and stole the "comical workplace in a superhero universe" concept, then rushed it to air to beat Marvel. So good job, DC. You made a ho-hum show that didn't even last, and denied us of what could have been a great Marvel show.
KillingTheJoke hannibal was cancelled last year, this is a list for this year, a real shame though, its my favorite tv series, watch american gods is from the same creator and while it has a different premise it retains hannibal visual style
Hannibal got cancelled because they ran out of story plots from the movies to butcher and rehash. I don't disagree that it was a good show, but the majority of its stories were taken strait from the movies. I mean, I can't have been the only person who noticed that Hannibal used the exact same "cologne with a ship on the bottle" line twice in the series, which was stolen from Red Dragon. And rather than start coming up with original stories to keep the show going, they just ended it. Kinda sad really.
jessica miranda I did enjoy watching Rush Hour but I believe the problem was that CBS really didn't believe in the show, my reason for saying this is because yes we all heard the hype for the show but then it dyed down quick, then for me they kept moving it around due to football along with The Odd Couple in my view, so with all that happening how can these shows gain and keep viewers?
I started watching The Catch because of the lead actress's performance in The Killing, a show I really liked. Watched the first season and found it okay but couldn't be bothered to watch the second season.
I hadn't heard of most of these. Sad, Making History sounds like a great concept, now I'm scared to get into it knowing that there's no way to finish it.
last man standing was the high cost. Fox who owns the rights paid all production costs for 6 seasons with ABC having to pick up half of production costs for all future shows. ABC would see zero of the syndication money so bowed out
ally kirk I don't really consider that sci-fi... more horror/suspense/I dont really know what to call it...lol! but damn... 14 years! Stargate still has it beat if you count the 2 spin offs.
Joe Gray I totally get what you mean with the genre but it gets classified as such because of the fantasy aspect of the show, which there is a lot of. Also, just realize I typed 14 instead of 13 but still long time. And yeah Star Trek and stargate easily have it beat if you count spin offs but the title it for single series instead of overall franchise.
0:32 The Catch 1:10 Making History 1:46 Frequency 2:23 The Great Indoors 2:55 Dr. Ken 3:26 Sleepy Hollow 3:55 The Blacklist: Redemption 4:25 No Tomorrow 4:53 2 Broke Girls 5:21 Last Man Standing 5:53 Son of Zorn 6:26 American Crime 6:56 Scream Queens 7:25 Powerless
Making history pretty much pissed all over the American Revolution and the founding of the United States. I am going to miss Son of Zorn, it has some great Hanna Barbara nostalgia from the 80s.
Son of Zorn is the only one I'm upset about. Was a great original show that sadly most didn't even give a chance - most people I talked to wrote it off without even watching it.
I love Son of Zorn. It is annoying how networks barely give shows a chance. Maybe the ratings slipped because of the fact that they kept starting it already in progress because the freaking NFL games ran late.
I am so devastated over the lost of this show. I was enjoying every bit of Morris Chestnut and the cast as a whole along with seeing all of Miami on the show. The chemistry between Via & Rosey was the best and the story line with Latoya Luckett was the best. Fox did us viewers very dirty by canceling this show.
Powerless isn't gone because it has no super power... it's gone because it's not funny. If it's funny, people will just watch it as a comedy, it is however not.
Tommy DeVito we'll see. if the cancellation WAS political, chances are someone else WILL pick up the show (big corporations, especially media conglomerates tend to lean either neutral or pro-business conservative politically). but NO ONE wants a money-loser, so if ABC is correct, LMS will be untouchable.
Justin Shim lol media conglomerate are very left leaning. lms was cancelled due to conservative values. only those who voted for Hillary would try to misdirected and say it wasnot
Darren Steeves I'm supposed to just take YOUR word for it. lmao either way, if it stays cancelled, THAT will be a pretty good sign the termination of the show was at LEAST partly financial. after all, even Faux News wouldn't keep a show on if it the profits didn't outweigh the expenses. isn't that right, Bill O'Reilly?
The Strain also got canceled. A TV show about Vampires initially directed by Guillermo Del Toro, it started out strong with grim visuals and good tension. After the 1st season, Toro left the project and the characters started making stupid choices for the sake of plot and it became too predictable. It felt like they were stalling for time. The Strain is getting its last season now, hope i hadn't completely wasted my time.
Why is the Vampire Dairies still a thing? It should have ended a Long time ago. I was a Huge fan and then everything started to get dragged and I was over it. Can it already.
Last Man Standing is a sitcom with 6 seasons behind it produced by a different network, that doesn't want the show, staring one of the most expensive people on TV, who's contract is up. People keep trying to make a thing out of its cancellation. There is no thing. It simply doesn't make financial sense for ABC to renew the overpriced and aging series. If the show had any value, its production company, Fox, would air it.
For me every single type of Law & Order like show or spinoff same with all the different CSI series out their. As they are all the same copy and paste series just with different characters. I would also say Family Guy has run its course. Much rather watch Bobs Burgers or Rick and Morty then Family Guy.
"Oh, I don't like this thing. It needs to be canceled hurr durr" There are poeple who like the show, what does it bother you if it's on or not, just don't watch it.
I see it because I love McKenzie's interpretation of Jim Gordon, but the show did start bad. Nevertheless, it has become a lot better recently, and the las season was really worth watching.
Last Man Standing was produced under a limited 6 Year Contract with 20th Century Fox, if the show were to continue then ABC would have to pick up the budget. Probably easier just to buy another show than keep paying Buzz Lightyear to fart around.
I know that he tried to imply that Last Man Standing was cancelled because of Tim Allen's politics, but the fact is that it was simply too expensive to keep going. Same reason Friends and Mad About You came to an end.
Apparently there's a conspiracy theory that says Tim Allen's show got canceled because he supports Trump. Wow, people... Just, I mean wow. No. No, that is not what happened. At all. No. That's stupid and absurd.
Yeah, you're right. It's just a coincidence that ABC's highest rated television show was immediately cancelled after Tim Allen talked about Hollywood being a leftist echo chamber.
actually, it is a coincidence, the cancel was cause it was extremely expensive, FOX had a sweetheart deal with ABC where Fox paid all the production cost for 6 seasons, basically guarantying it 6 seasons. However after that ABC would need to pay the bill, but Fox would still own the rights and syndication rights. It got canceled cause Tim Allen is too expensive
that simply is false. yes fox footed the bill for 6 seasons but ABC had EVERY INTENTION of continuing on with a money making show featuring one of its oldest stars. Home Improvement was an ABC show too... Allen's show was cancelled because his comments pissed off the Exec's who saw his viewpoint as a liability. Nothing else.
John Douglas Racing Video no that is false it was the high production costs and that they would see zero of the syndication money. Tim Allen is part of toy story his views not an issue
Well, I just learned the existence of at least 10 shows.
TheCapitaineCarnage lmao this was great!!
I learned about 12. I had heard of two of them and have even seen a few episodes of one of those two.
TheCapitaineCarnage I learned of 9... I think. I knew 3 of them and had heard of 2 of them. unless I miscounted, it seemed shorter than 14.
I learned about 14 shows. feels like I'm living under a rock
Yeah, i just realized how much I am set in my ways. I watch the same things on a normal basis and 3 of the nights I am watching wrestling.
Hey, I actually like Powerless. Can't Alan Tudyk be in a TV series that doesn't get cancelled for once?
Betta66 same. i really liked powerless. and it was just getting good too.
Yeah it was.
It was a bit meh for my tastes, felt like they weren't using the full cast as well as they might have done but it seemed like it was improving and the team was growing into making a really great show out of it. I'd say if it had gotten a second season it would have become something well worth watching even if the beginning was a bit slow and predictable.
Star vs the Forces of Evil?
Some Crazed Nerd Never heard of it
Never understood how 2 Broke Girls lasted as long as it did.
Heather H it was a good comedy in my opinion. I am one of those disappointed that it has been cancelled without a true ending.
Heather H I feel the same out 2 broke girls how on earth did it last i always caught the end. still didnt understand.

I watched the first four seasons and I am mystified as to how it lasted. Sleepy Hollow immediately lost a large portion of its fanbase when Abby's character was killed off. The interactions between her and Cane were the appeal of the show.
Briana Hicks I agree but I'm thinking is it bc they were interracial maybe maybe not

Jeff, Chang and abed's shows all got cancelled? Someone hates community
scrax6 it's because they never made a movie
scrax6 Its a conspiracy to free up the cast at once suddenly so they have nothing to get in the way of doing a Community Movie😂😂😂😂
Jakob Chester This is genius haha
#SixSeasonsAndAMovie
scrax6 Community has adopted the "Seinfeld Curse".
It is the dark time line rises saga.
The terrible change in direction for season 4 of Sleepy Hollow killed it. I couldn't make it through an episode without feeling the urge to balance a check book because it would be more interesting.
Erdrick68 I agree. A lot of people bowed out once abby was killed also.
sadly, I felt the same. I stopped watching before the finale. It was a great show for the first couple seasons then just died :(
Once Abby's character line ended I knew the show would fail. The whole point of the show is the friendship between Abby and Crane.
what's a check book?
Christopher Panossian I agree. It was their relationship that made the show work and I just didn't like the changes that happened this season. That new guy Dreyfus was more annoying than sinister
''brooklyn ninety nine''
well done simon
I normally defend him but that triggered me
read the comments before watching the video... I had a little heart attack
NINE NINE!
NINE NIIIYNE!
ofc a bunch of people getting triggered by someone reading numbers how you're supposed to.
First Constantine, now Powerless. I loved Constantine, and I did quite enjoy Powerless. STOP PUTTING SUPERHERO SHOWS ON NBC, WARNER BROTHERS!
Well, no more will FIT on the CW!
how about just stop making superhero shows? they already consume more than half our movie market every year. IMO its just watering the whole genre down.
There is some small flicker of hope Constantine will be coming to the CW, he did make an appearance in Legends of Tomorrow, by the same actor to boot.
People in the comments. It is possible to accept that a person enjoyed or didn't enjoy a show you did/didn't without isulting them. Sincerely Common Sense.
I actually liked Scream Queens!!
I liked Powerless. I’m sad it got canceled
fuck you
Another reason "LAST MAN STANDING" got cancelled was because ABC/DISNEY didn't own it.
Name one conservative / libertarian TV show.
it got canceled because of politics. Stop making excuses for the authoritarian left.
Same thing happened to that show, Forever, last year with Ioan Gruffold. It was the only one in the lineup ABC didnt own outright, and it was the only cancelled last year.
David Meloche which sucked because I quite liked Forever
A new series based on Sheldon Cooper as a kid is coming this fall...this is why we don't deserve nice things!
Diarra Harris exactly! Who asked for this
I like TBBT, and even I agree, I don't want that
Tell me they will put it in Nickelodeon...because there's where it belongs.
+Sarcastichuman Beingsarcastic No chance since it'll feature his "clean-looking" alcoholic father & religious nut of a mother....and the fact it belongs to CBS.
Sarcastichuman Beingsarcastic yeah seriously LOL. it's a ridiculous idea , I have seen more cartoons less goofy and silly.
the tardis noise intro makes me happy
FJT01 4 scared the shit out of me. I thought I was about to receive horrible news about Doctor Who.
Justin Castellano didn't think of that
Justin Castellano I did too even though I haven't watched it in 10 years.
Superb!
FJT01 4 lol yea can't wait for the new doc
Alan Tudyk must get tired of being in unjustly cancelled shows...
Rip firefly
2 broke Girls had thee worst acting I have ever seen.....
Kat Dennings is a very good actress.
Did he just say Brooklyn Ninety Nine.....
I've tried to be fair to you Simon, but come on now. How many videos do you go through where you miss pronounce something or get something wrong.
Either the writers aren't proof reading these properly or you're not doing your job properly. You speak into a microphone man, get it together.
Mispronounce is a single word and it only has one S.
You know what they say, people who live in glass houses shouldn't
be judgemental cunts.

It's written 'ninety nine' and he probably hasn't watched it, cut the guys some slack damn
It's actually written as "Nine-Nine"

Not quite sure how Simon managed this one... Slip of the tongue maybe?
Eve Sav No if it was written like that why would it be 9, 9?!?!?! NO! It says nine nine and that's why it's dumb!
I thought Scream Queens was on hiatus because they make the episodes for the Halloween season. I really enjoyed that show, sad to hear it got cancelled. 😢
Swag Sabby i think it just came to an end based on the final episode.
Jane, but the 1st season ended in a similar way though. It would've been great seeing them move from a hospital to a tv studio.
Yes Swag that would've been amazing. Too bad Fox wasnt smart enough to move the show to FX. I read somewhere that the show was under a two-season contract and after that it would be up in the air for possible cancelation or if it did good for a possible third season. I'll miss this show and its characters.
Blacklist: Redemption was a decent show. It sucks that it was canceled.
Anubiz Yeah sucks 😑
It was so good!!!!!
sleepy hollow was good only for the first two seasons after that it went down the drains especially when they introduced soppy love stories. Unbearable.
Alessandra Forti agreed....always kills a show when they add garbage to cater to a small fan base
I'm just glad to see that supernatural wasn't on this list
TormentedTony It should only have one or two more seasons,it has been on long enough & not as good as the first 5 seasons.
Ahhhmmm
"End of the NBA playoffs" *Shows picture of College Basketball players*
skydaplaya6 You're right. North Carolina vs Michigan State. You must have the memory of an elephant because that clip went by way to fast for me to notice and remember.
They're British. We don't know fuck all about the NBA (unless you're one of those weird teenagers at school who pretended to be American for a few months because he found out his grandma ma was impregnated by an American G.I during WWII)
It's was a ham fisted attempt at being inclusive toward Americans.
Man Beadle Haha, oh I totally get that. I just thought it was a funny little oversight
I'm glad sleepy hollow is being cancelled. After what they did to Nicole and her character Abby I was done with that show.
From what I understand she did it to herself by asking for Big Bang Theory money on Sleepy Hollow's budget it was already failing and she refused to negotiate so...
I don't understand why can't you just not watch the show if you don't like it why do you wish it death?
MrElionor I did stop watching it. I still like the show as a whole but I didn't like how it was progressing. I've rewatched seasons 1-3 countless times. & "wish it death"? It's not that dramatic. The shows cancelled, move on. Just like I did when they killed off Abby.
Kenyada Blalock
Well getting canceled is a shows death it's only dramatic if you make it but fine you haven't really answered my question why are you so happy with the shows misfortune if you moved on?
MrElionor like I stated in my original comment after the way they treated Nicole & how they pushed Abby to the side the 3rd season really turned me off. I'm not shocked it's been canceled. Am I dancing around with glee because a show I was rooting for is over? No. I had a lot of hope for this show but unfortunately it wasn't able to continue with the momentum it started with.
I gave Powerless a chance, but I just couldn't get into it.
I still can't forgive the cancellation of Galavant.
pyrotheevilplatypus It's cancelled already? Gee, does Fox have persistence anymore? They keep "Family Guy" and "The Simpsons", but not "Galavant".
So Sleepy Hollow has been cancelled. Damn! I'm disappointed, but not really surprised. I had a feeling this was going to be the final season, and it was going downhill, but I'm still sad to know it's gone. :(
Itchybold Crane?!
GreyHulk2 😅😅😅
Baffling.
What?
BROOKLYN NINETY-NINE....
I cared about none of these shows
Haven't even heard of them besides Sleepy Hollow
Sleepy Hollow sucks, that's why we've heard of it.
So stoked "The Catch" has been axed. My folks watch that shit, most mind numbing stuff you've ever seen. Told them they're risking dementia watching it
Sleepy Hollow was the show i watched the most on the list although some shows I had never heard of.
I actually really enjoyed Powerless. It was surprisingly funny. But the others...Yeah, not so much.
I'm still annoyed CSI stopped. 15 seasons was not enough tbh.i could watch it forever
I recommend lucifer to anyone who just lost a tv show. You will not be disappointed.
Awful series.
Don't. You. Believe him.
terrible premise, but maybe it's better than it sounds.
I'm a huge fan of the comic so I'm really hesitant on jumping aboard the show.
American Crime was an amazing show.. maybe some netflix or something will pick it up..
no Hulu in Canada.. so.... lol
2 Broke Girls is cancelled. Praise the gods!
Gnarwhal Finally!
Mighty Havoc Ikr. I'm happy now
Two Busted Virgins!
Chaleco Salvavides :1
more like 2 broke dicks
Damn, I liked Powerless
yeah, it was a bit generic on its humor, but the setting was original. I wouldve liked a second season with some better writing.
Cheyenne I agree with you
30 seconds into the premiere I was like.. This shit getting canceled..
Me too. I really enjoyed it.
I liked it too, the pacing was off though. that's why I knew it wasn't gonna make it.
It all depends on what the studios think is "hot" at any given moment.
you just listed the fucking worst american shows you possibly could
Im an anime fan myself, but american tv for the past 10 years possibly has been in a golden age.
Other then Gotham, Better Call Saul, Bobs Burgers, Rick and Morty and Modern Family but thats about it since im picky and I don't have the money for premium networks so I can't watch the shows on those channels.
they should've moved scream queens to FX for similar audiences to AHS. Scream queens was good satire, too bad its now gone.
Damn. Lose your mother, then lose your grandmother, then lose your job. Some people can't catch a break . . .
WakenerOne, what?
Billie Lourde (Chanel #3) is Carrie Fisher's daughter. So in December, she lost her mother, then her grandmother, and now her job.
Anyone here liked Son of Zorn?
Shame since it ended on a cliffhanger (thus it's on cliffhanger limbo like other shows).
Ren Cen
I liked Son of Zorn. Tim Meadows was great. Even at its worst, it was better than many shows that lasted 5+ seasons (e.g. Two and a Half Men, According to Jim).
Ren Cen I liked it. Animation/live-action hybrids are a hidden gem to me.
I liked it. Sometimes it wasn't great but it redeemed itself for those moments. Overall I enjoyed it.
Firefly
no im not over it yet
QuantumTap Too soon.
live ratings are still useful but have become unreliable when determining what shows should be cancelled or renewed, with the rise of people using streaming services, waiting for shows to finish so they can binge it or straight up pirating shows, live ratings arent the best indicator anymore, i dont watch any of these shows so im not to fazed by them being cancelled but i dont want one of my favourite shows getting cancelled because of live ratings numbers...
I used to watch it but I thought it was canceled years ago.
5:50
While the show aired on ABC, it was also a co-production of 20th century Fox, who were shouldering a lot of the production cost.
"NBA Playoffs" (Shows a college basketball photograph)
"Brooklyn Ninty-Nine" God dammit, Simon
I wish scream queens wasn't cancelled
To be fair, the second season did not stack up to the first. But yes, a fun show
Dead as Oliver Hudson's character. Gave us some good laughs and an extraordinary trove of sexual euphemisms.
That's the Fox network for ya. It has the most fickle execs.
As much I was a fan of Joel McHale on Community, the Great Indoors was TERRIBLE. It felt so forced, and McHale doesn't work well in the multi camera sitcom format. Hopefully he'll be back in something more suited to him.
That, and it was clear that it was trying to cash in on Last Man Standing's success.
RobotShlomo Like making fun of tv shows and celebrities.
Netflix can make alot of money off one of these series.
RedNiNo Fioz I said the same thing and the sad thing is that the shows on Netflix wouldn't survive on primetime so I'm happy we have streaming
The things is that NetFlix cant buy everything because of licensing agreements.. Some shows have international copy writes and rather make no money than let NetFlix have it.
Greg Monts Thats why i said one of these shows, Preferably the ones with a season or two. Less to pay for copyrights.
Netflix is an amazing hero to a lot of us, at least us Young Justice fans, Young Justice Season 3 is happening
It's a bland, boring sitcom.
I really liked the Sleepy Hollow show. The issue is that after the first season, it became a typical bullshit crime show. That's the biggest issue with these shows on prime time local channels. The writing goes to shit and because they are cancelled so much they don't do any long term planning.
Powerless just wasn't that funny. It felt like they were trying too hard.
Ya, But i think it had potential
It was improving, felt like the writers weren't sure what to do with the setting at first but they seemed to be improving. If it had had more time I think it could have been a decent show.
yeah it definitely had some potential. I feel like it was TOO meta.
Jon Forbing well...the comic at least sounds good.
I was waiting for Hannibal's name to come up... guess I will never hear about that show again... such a brilliant show that got cancelled
I just start Hannibal recently and I can see why people love it. I was surprised that it was cancelled though.
KillingTheJoke hannibal was cancelled last year, this is a list for this year, a real shame though, its my favorite tv series, watch american gods is from the same creator and while it has a different premise it retains hannibal visual style
arturo hernandez I know it was a shame indeed and American gods is on my wishlist will definitely check it out
It so Deserved a 4th Season! Except NBC was so stupid to cancel it!
NBA Playoffs - Shows college basketball
I was extremely disappointed that The Real O'Neals was cancelled. It was my favorite new comedy
they also canceled pitch, rosewood, shot fired (which was a great show) rush hour
APB was also cancelled. That was a great show and also made me laugh.
jessica miranda I did enjoy watching Rush Hour but I believe the problem was that CBS really didn't believe in the show, my reason for saying this is because yes we all heard the hype for the show but then it dyed down quick, then for me they kept moving it around due to football along with The Odd Couple in my view, so with all that happening how can these shows gain and keep viewers?
Who else hopes Making History and Son of Zorn makes it to Netflix?
Yea I liked Making History and Son of Zorn seems funny.
Gizmo Hibiki I loved making history. I also hope it makes it to netflix.
Gizmo Hibiki son of zorn was the best i hope netflix picks it up
Gizmo Hibiki zorn is on showbox
They're really stupid, but good for a watch in total, so they deserve to be on there more than a lot of crap on Netflix.
read it over a week ago, and still can't believe 2 Broke Girls has been cancelled... don't care about the rest in this list
iamdb1990 the show sucked honestly
it wasn't great all the time, but i liked it
iamdb1990 the writing was different. i havnt been laughing this season.
I liked The Catch!
Me too. Apparently we are in the minority.
I've gotta catch the Catch. ;)
I loved The Catch!😔
I started watching The Catch because of the lead actress's performance in The Killing, a show I really liked.
Watched the first season and found it okay but couldn't be bothered to watch the second season.
I'm really disappointed that it is cancelled...
Sleepy Hollow is the only one I'll miss. OK, I'll be fair, it's the only one on the list I ever watched.
I hadn't heard of most of these. Sad, Making History sounds like a great concept, now I'm scared to get into it knowing that there's no way to finish it.
Never watched any of these, Never will...
last man standing was the high cost. Fox who owns the rights paid all production costs for 6 seasons with ABC having to pick up half of production costs for all future shows. ABC would see zero of the syndication money so bowed out
I'm actually gonna miss American Crime😢
CamtheBCVlogger _ So will I! I enjoyed this season. The storyline was very epic. I'm so sad to see it end.
Perverted Alchemist based on the comments I read, quite a few people were upset by the second season in particular.
I just found the series and love it. I'm sad it's ending as well.
If The CW only had DC shows... that would be AWESOME!
Isn't that on it's last season anyway?
Nope it got renewed for season 14. Longest running sci-fi show in television history.
ally kirk I don't really consider that sci-fi... more horror/suspense/I dont really know what to call it...lol! but damn...
0:32 The Catch
1:10 Making History
1:46 Frequency
2:23 The Great Indoors
2:55 Dr. Ken
3:26 Sleepy Hollow
3:55 The Blacklist: Redemption
4:25 No Tomorrow
4:53 2 Broke Girls
5:21 Last Man Standing
5:53 Son of Zorn
6:26 American Crime
6:56 Scream Queens
7:25 Powerless
I'll miss Son of Zorn.
1. wcpw loaded
party guy jarpants it will be back and better than ever
too soon man
no fuckin chill
No chill
awww, I liked American Crime.
Thank you for reminding me there's nothing on network TV anymore.
Blacklist redemption was the shit. I loved that show.
Selale Z didn't seem to hurt NCIS LA that much
Deplorable Minnesotan You were triggered by Making History? Wow.
Emerald City deserved a second season.
I'm saddened by the cancellation of Last Man Standing and Scream Queens, those were two of my favorite shows.
An ad for American Gods was the ad featured before your video here... I mean I for a moment there I thought "that was quick!"
Rosewood got canceled, :{
I love that show.
One of the best!
Powerless isn't gone because it has no super power... it's gone because it's not funny. If it's funny, people will just watch it as a comedy, it is however not.
"Brooklyn Ninety-Nine"
How is "The Last Man on Earth" not been cancelled that show is terrible also he is not the last man or even the last person on earth!
Man there are a lot of shows I've never even heard of get cancelled.
No Prison Break :(
Prison break is back on if not on t.v. It's on Netflix.
ProtocoloSombra The reboot of it sucked!
Is Knight Rider still on EL Rey Network!?
Last man standing got canned for political reasons
Hoss Delgado really? what it ask about?
Ali Khundmiri time Allen is a conservative and didn't hold to the leftist agenda of ABC. for example making fun of micro aggressions.
Darren Steeves I'm supposed to just take YOUR word for it. lmao
either way, if it stays cancelled, THAT will be a pretty good sign the termination of the show was at LEAST partly financial. after all, even Faux News wouldn't keep a show on if it the profits didn't outweigh the expenses. isn't that right, Bill O'Reilly?
Is that the Juanes guitar riff I hear in the background? Or am I wrong? I'm probably wrong. at 2:15ish
I can say for most of these shows (that I actually watched 1 episode of), all my brain is saying "Oh thank you, good residence".
No mention of Rosewood?
powerless was actually a good show
i miss rosewood
if i don't know it or heard about it.
then it doesn't deserve to be alive.
Awe I liked Powerless
Max I know right? Also it answers a question I always asked, "How do people survive these fights?". It brought I interesting and new prospective.
Max Honestly I didn't even keep on watching it. I am not exactly sure why, it could be that reason but it just lost me.
Alexander Hamilton And when Emily’s apartment got wrecked in a superhero fight.
Michael Tótin THANK YOU! It's like I said just follow the money
Pretty sure it wasn't a hard decision based on Tim Allens political views.
lol bull shit the leftist traitors i faggywood wanted to shut down the only show that stood up to their evil and corrupt ways
Love WhatCulture, but the picture for the "NBA Playoffs" is of college basketball
The Catch was amazing.
Rosewood
Idk I liked Powerless.
Blacklist: Redemption Dam, It was a great show
right smh
"A superhero show without a superhero" gotham lol
If Sleepy Hollow had legs, but the showrunners tried to put the co-lead in the back of the bus, and when she left, the fandom left.
I was hoping "The Simpsons" be cancelled. After all, the show had run its course for too long. The same should be for "Law & Order: SVU" as well.
For me every single type of Law & Order like show or spinoff same with all the different CSI series out their. As they are all the same copy and paste series just with different characters. I would also say Family Guy has run its course. Much rather watch Bobs Burgers or Rick and Morty then Family Guy.
Robert Polanco I've read that The Simpsons will end after it's 30th season. It will start its 28th season in the fall.
Oh, goddammit! It just isn't fair for a show like "The Simpsons" to last so long while other shows didn't! The people behind that show must be nuts!
You know what... Its been 10 years... Time to return to Springfield... I better like what I see...
I guess you must be crazy!
Am I really the only one who hates Gotham? It deserves to be cancelled.
SD50 I never really liked the idea of a show set in the Batman Universe with a young Bruce Wayne, but gave it a shot. Gave up after 2 episodes
"Oh, I don't like this thing. It needs to be canceled hurr durr" There are poeple who like the show, what does it bother you if it's on or not, just don't watch it.
I never said it needs to be cancelled.
You said it deserves to be canceled, because you hate it.
Same reason Friends and Mad About You came to an end.
i'm gonna go out on a limb and guess that most of these shows were unpopular because they were never promoted and no one even knew they existed
Apparently there's a conspiracy theory that says Tim Allen's show got canceled because he supports Trump. Wow, people... Just, I mean wow. No. No, that is not what happened. At all. No. That's stupid and absurd.
stupid? yes. absurd? most defiantly. sadly though most likely true as saying anything favorably about Trump is seen as supporting him in Hollywood.
