Pay attention MLB. This is the way to bring baseball back in America. Maybe not every player, every game. But we want to hear this. There are ball players that the fans will fall in love with completely based on hot mics.
Daniel Thaler speaking as a Braves fan I completely understand why you made this comment. Both of these guys play the game right and never speak bad about opposing players/teams. They have respect for the game and for their opponents. Both really have a knack for playing well against the Mets too, lol.
I think the Braves feel the same way about DeGrom. He’s the only guy on the Mets who I truly like. Maybe Lindor is next now, who knows how he does vs NL East pitching
@@louisfrey7260 Dunno about that... There was a ground ball during game 2 of the NLCS and Machado, who was playing with the LAD, didn't run. Later in a interview he said that being a Johnny Hustle isn't his "cup of tea"

@@blazeroosterYT The irony is that we should have never had that last game. Freddie and Markakis literally swung us out of the playoffs in 2 games we led in in St. Louis.
At this point in his career, no matter what Freddie decides to do he will always have all of Atlanta as fans. I appreciate Freddie so much that if he decides to leave one day, I just hope he picks the right team that will get him the World Series ring he deserves. The heart of Atlanta.
He predicted it would land before it did. That hustle from him as he winded himself. I mean they said he was sore a week ago, but he made some healthy hacks and looked pretty good, so Im excited to see what a purely healthy Freeman in his prime years can do if he was already that good last year while hurting
This guy is a tremendous leader and presence in that clubhouse. He climbed Acuna, Jr. during the playoffs last year for not making it to second on a ball he hit off of the right field wall. BUT....he’s also a guy that can keep a clubhouse loose and light and just seems like a guy that is really grateful for all he’s got and knows that this is a game. And games are supposed to be fun. And Freddie knows how to have fun. I’ve been very lucky to have been able to watch him since his debut and hopefully for many more years to come!
nope don't think it's right to do during the regular season because it could impact play and that should never be....but during spring training or maybe the all-star game, yeah why not it's pretty entertaining!
@Treblecyde what happens when a player drops a fly ball or misses a step because he is talking to the announcers? I think it would be bad for baseball because to me I'd rather see a player on my team do well than hear his joking or perspectives during the game. That stuff is cool for exhibition games but not the season proper. I'm an old guy; probably get overruled by all you who like the change anyway but that is my two cents on it.
David Evans I agree, but they can still mic up players and not connect them with the announcers....then show the interesting bits throughout the game. Especially for 1st baseman. Would love to hear those convos!

There werr 2 outs. Infield fly rule wasn't in effect. You also need to have runners on at least 1st and 2nd for infield fly rule to be in effect as well.
Only time I saw Freddie in person he drilled a game winning single with a man on 2nd after we just tied it up against the Mets. He always stands up straight in the important moments. You hear that effort on the swing and miss? How baseball should be played.
I became a Freddie freeman fan since I saw Anthony ruzzio strike him out, his post game interview shows how respectful and humble this man really is. Freddie freeman is a great player and a real good look for the MLB.
Fun fact - during Snowpocolyps 2014, Freddie got stuck in the ice & snow so Chipper made the save (see what I did there, a baseball pun) & picked up Freddie on his 4-wheeler.
