    What's the best way to practice improvising corresponding scales over chords? Is it through backing tracks?

    Hi, and thanks so much for sharing these interesting videos ! what is the Nord's sound that you are using over this video ?

    • @Piano_Pig
      @Piano_Pig  5 лет назад +1

      In the last few months I've started using sounds from Keyscape rather than from my Nord! This is the 'Rhodes - Classic Amp' sound from Keyscape :)

    Not a member but will check out the course and others on the platform: this is an interesting chord progression and not too hard for newbies either. Really good. Thank you.
    Can I ask what software is used to record the virtual keyboard key presses at note names? That could be an interesting tool to use when improvising, to review what's been played and also (in my case) to pinpoint what went wrong.

    • @Piano_Pig
      @Piano_Pig  5 лет назад

      Glad to hear you enjoyed the video! Hopefully I'll see you inside the Academy! The virtual keyboard is creates using a program called 'Midiculous'

    • @Piano_Pig
      @Piano_Pig  5 лет назад +2

      It's not really in a specific key, it changes with pretty much every chord 😀

      @@Piano_Pig Hi there, thanks for the video. To me this sounds like a backdoor progression going into Bb minor. The Eb major is IV major 7 chord, borrowed from the Bb major scale, the Ab minor chord is the bVII of Bb (although it should be dominant in Bb minor) the Bb minor is the i chord and lastly the Gb major is the bVI chord that shares notes with the tonic chord of Bb minor.
