Glad to see a new video and the photos from your classes! Love how this flip cup turned out! Would love to see more of these, especially when you add your own twists to the technique!
@@EricaHughesArt Yes, yes I love earth tones! I was just watching one of you round canvas pours from a while ago and would love to see that in earth tones too!! 🤩
I am STUNNED at this one Erica !!🤯🤯💕❤️. WOW is absolutely right ! Also, I have loved using your DIY PM &….LOVE it ! The depth it created in a coaster set I did ?…😍😍
Gorgeous! Curious how you landed on the gloss gel for. PM ingredient vs. say Liquitex PM and Varnish? Do your cells hold their integrity better or what…?!? Txz ever so much, jeanne
Omg I love this!!! It's gorgeous!😍😍 question, do you still add water to your gel gloss before adding it to the floetrol or do you just put it straight in with the floetrol now? I find it very thick so just wondering 😊
Hi! Thank you! To make the process quicker.... I have been wetting down the pigments with the pouring medium. I add a small amount to the cup, then add my pigment. If its clumping up... I'll add a few drops of water mix again really well and then add more pouring medium! Works a charm and quicker process! Hope that helps!
Advice on doing I'm going to make a wood camper on the back of my pickup truck and I want to do a flip cup pour with black red and blue on 4 by 8 sheets so it's like a four four by eight pieces of plywood but I need to know what medium to use pouring medium what type of acrylic and what type of like sealant then I can put on it to seal the wood so if you could give me some advice I would really appreciate it these type of pictures are amazing and I want to do a whole stand up camper all the walls the roof the sides everything the door I want to make it all those colors black red and blue and I want to flip the cops upside down and pour it and use a hair dryer and get all the effects and I need some help on what to purchase and what to buy please help I'm interested
So Erica ? So how much pm do you make to do this picture. So if you mixed the PM can you give me an estimate on how much gel and how much floetrol you would need for all the paints to mix what you did. Like for example need 150ml of pm so what would the mix be? Can you give me an idea? And than on the paint let’s say the Prussian blue you make how much and rest of colors. Just trying to get an idea of the ratios and how it would be to give me an clearer idea. Sorry to be a pain!!! Thanks so much!!! Wendy!😊
Hi! I add golden regular gloss gel into my floetrol first. This adds transparency to the floetrol forcing it to dry clear and adding an a binder! I wouldn't add only floetrol into the piggies. You wouldn't have a binder. Also, I don't like dispersing my pigs in varnish unless I'm doing the Sheleeart bloom technique. I have tried dispersing in varnish and then adding to my pouring medium but the outcome I'm not a fan off. They run all over the place.
Beautiful Erica 😍😎🥰

So you just spin, no tilting or rocking this piece?
Fantastic
This one is amazing! I noticed you didn’t use a lot of the gold when you were preparing your cup, but it was very prominent in your pour.
Beautiful Erica …I miss you !💕
Cathy! Miss you!!! We will have to catch up soon!!! ❤❤
Hi Erica just beautiful love colour combinations, why don’t. You do workshop in Ireland..

Gorgeous! Curious how you landed on the gloss gel for. PM ingredient vs. say Liquitex PM and Varnish? Do your cells hold their integrity better or what…?!? Txz ever so much, jeanne
You nailed it! Cells hold up so much better for me and everything stays put after I'm finished tilting/spinning/blowing....
Hey Erica left ya a few messages on IM, was hoping to get complete clarification on the PM mixes. Exactly how you mix the 75/25
Omg I love this!!! It's gorgeous!😍😍 question, do you still add water to your gel gloss before adding it to the floetrol or do you just put it straight in with the floetrol now? I find it very thick so just wondering 😊

Cudo❤
More flip cups
That would look good in a donut shop
So the artists telling us that adding more than 20% of floetrol to piggies will dull them isn’t necessarily correct?
