I don't know how it works, but the CB Gripper is an indispensable part of my equipment now. It's not like a bag with powder inside, which can be used either too much or too little. The CB Gripper just makes the grip RIGHT each and every time. Very consistent. Get one or two, and you will forget where you put your other bags. No residue!
@@SeaJackson I believe the CB Gripper is supposed to absorb the moisture of your hand. Some folks get clammy hands while bowling. It's all about maintaining consistency during your game.
@jjnotwatt448 thanks, was needed... Lol my avg has dropped 5 pins the last few weeks! Was lost and every adjustment I made was wrong haha.. or seemed to be.
I’d love to see the Theorem vs the Zig Zag. This has been a really good video and it looks like Track has another hit on their hands. I got the paragon Pearl after your review and I’m definitely happy. Picking up a Zig Zag today. Theorem may round out my set.
Another great video! Need your help again Charles on my first asymmetrical ball. Track Theorem, Radical Zigzag or DV8 Violent Collusion? Thanks in advance my guy!
@@TheHype-Bowling That is my biggest concern knowing that these types of balls hook more. So more forgiveness is something I need. Thanks Charles. I’ll be sure to tag you once I throw it💪🏽🔥
They can sleep on this ball if they want to. But that Track Theorem is my absolute favorite. If want to play straight, which I love, I can when I need go get left, I can as well. I will have several of these stashed for sure!
That's crazy, 10 sec before you mentioned if it had a different name. I was thinking who thought of the name because it isn't that great.. not diggin it, but the name plate is nice
U should do a vid comparing 14 lb to 15 lb balls .. I would like to hear your words on that specifically and I been seeing a few other ppl comparing them . That Theorem is definitely nice tho ..
I switched from 15 to 14 about a year ago and I have less wrist pain and have way more control. Main difference I see is the extra drive through the pins. The 14 is more likely to deflect but so long as you account for that, the 14 is basically the same imo. Mostly see the pin deflection with sleeper spares.
Before I watch the video of track is I heard that it’s good for a transition shot, so I see what Charles does. But the core in this ball is nasty. 6:20 yeah man love hearing moving left. 6:40 ok Im in, fresh oil track newest ball. 7:22 oh crap man that Theron is nasty, this ball will go good with the archetype I’ve got
Man, I just ordered a Widow 2.0 to replace my Dark Code as the core numbers are the same, albeit the DC is a pearl and the Widow is a hybrid. I hope I didn’t make a bad purchase as that Widow didn’t look very good at all compared to the Theorem. I also wanted to experience the HK22 cover as this will be my first. We shall see. Thanks Charles for all the informative vids.
The Dark Code, despite being pearl, has a stronger cover than the Widow 2.0 does. To start off with, you'll probably get more motion out of the Widow than you got with the Dark Code, but as the cover settles in over a couple months of use it becomes a little slower down lane, you leave less 3-6-10's or 3-6-9-10's or splits from it jumping too hard, and it suddenly becomes super consistent playing a bit closer to the track. Every ball has that drop in backend over time as they harden up and absorb oil, but I found it to be slightly less of a drop on the Dark Code. If I used surface or played too close to friction, the Dark Code would burn up a bit. I don't have that with Widow. New Widow will out perform the Dark Code in backend motion, but they are VERY familiar feeling balls to one another. Not a bad replacement at all. Dark Code used to be my favorite ball, now the Widow is my favorite, so 🤷🏻♂️
@@chrisstrong3748 Thank you so much for the insight Chris, it’s very much appreciated. The DC was my favorite ball of all time, then all of a sudden it lost its shape and motion down lane. It tried everything including detox, surfaces and polish, nothing seemed to work. I look forward to getting the BW 2.0 drilled up. Thanks again.
@@chrisstrong3748 Also, I was going to replace it with a VEBO as it has same REX cover as the DC, but core numbers are different. My arsenal is mostly SPI equipment, but I’m not opposed to different brands. I haven’t had a Hammer ball since the NO Mercy and wasn’t a fan of that ball. How is the BW on the fresh THS? When do you use yours?
I can't start anywhere right of 20 with the theorem, most of the time I'm on 23. The hybrid i can start a little further right, but too far right and they both overhook like crazy. I know part of that is my ball speed and ball weight. I've been bowling with 15# for years, thought I'd give 16# a try with the theorem. Think that was a mistake. I rarely get it above 13mph, the hybrid i get to 14-15mph.
7:58 assuming this is a widow you’ve had awhile with plenty of games on it, I think the widow just got weaker over time like all balls. I think the widow used to react just like that theorem if I recall correctly. Unless this was a freshly drilled widow?
So in your opinion to do the most accurate review and comparison. You person has to drill the new release as well investing more money into drilling the a fresh older rock from a year ago as well. Man I don’t know any ball review channel that do that. But bless your heart if someone afford that and house all that equipment. The widow is not the same as day of course but I’ve only use this ball for videos. It’s not really in my bag for tournaments.
@@TheHype-Bowling I’m not taking a shot at you or your review/ comparison. I still tuned in, still hit the like button. And I’m commenting with my thoughts… all of which helps the channel grow… I have heard people say their widows died fairly quickly and I am not sure if I do or do not believe that; I was honestly expecting those two balls to be about the same but they weren’t. So in my head I thought 💭 “either the theorem is actually stronger or the widow got weaker over time” So when I ask if it’s freshly drilled it’s to confirm my thinking. Personally it’s not a big deal. Not sure why you thought I was expecting you to drill a ball new when I was just “asking” if it was new. I think this really just opens up the conversation to bowlers to know that all reactive equipment does tame out over time. Cleaning, surfacing, and restoring can extend it’s life but eventually everyone will end up wanting to update their equipment/bags if you really want the best performance. But if you’re in that position where a ball you adored (say the widow 2.0 hybrid) is falling to the way side after hundreds of games and restorations just aren’t cutting it anymore - you’d likely want to know if a fresh version of that ball will still compete or if it’s more worth your time and money to get the latest and greatest thing in the market that has a similar shape to what you were throwing before
@@TheHype-Bowling I think oc was just pointing out his observations, not really taking a shot at you. We appreciate your content especially since no other channel can do comparo vids like you do. Keep up the good work!
I think the core numbers just gives the two balls slightly different shapes. The window being high diff is letting the ball hook sooner and a somewhat rounded backend shape vs the med diff Theorem who is storing the energy just a little bit longer which gives it that angular shape.
@@Christian-qu6yv I feel you, I know the core numbers are a little different (not by too much). I just remember when the widow 2.0 first came out, over the course of many months that core/cover combination was shown to hook a little early, but still be very angular. This is just me observing people of many different bowling styles on their videos though. To be honest, when I end up wanting/needing an angular ball again in the future, this is the type of thing I would be thinking about - whether to go with something newer or just get a widow.
That’s why I put the footage out there. So you can see it for yourself and interpret the footage how you see it. Nothing wrong with having a different view. It’s okay if I don’t see it the same as you. The beauty of RUclips! Thanks for watching.

Zigzag will be a good start. It’s the most even of the bunch. It still hooks a lot but I believe it’s a little more forgiving.
