I absolutely love the moment in Beautopia where Susan lets Finn feel her face to prove she's human. It's such a pure and intimate moment to show their trust and reassure Finn that he's not the only human left. Rebecca Sugar's AT episodes were always so emotionally intelligent.
I always tend to think the fish people are an evolved/mutated version of the people who sailed away in stakes due to them still wearing animal hats, a tradition formed through them, and humans overall.
I can see that; they definitely have human characteristics, and the hat thing makes sense. Though we also know at least _some_ of the people who sailed away made it to the islands, since there’s a statue of Two-Bread Tom on Founder’s Island. My idea is that they were a separate group whose underground bunker-cave-city-thing was enough to keep them alive but not enough to keep them from mutating.
I think revealing Susan’s humanness to the audience before Finn has its own advantages. It gives us a sense of dramatic irony and anticipation as we wait for Finn to learn what we know that he’s not the only human.
I'll never not feel robed that we didn't get a spin off with her and Frida, like imagine if instead of f*cking off into the empty ocean they not only helped during elements but were tasked by bubblegum to explore/stablish connections between the island, it'd be so cool to see the islands that were half effected by the mushroom war and wtf that huge crater that probably makes earth's gravity at least 10% weaker
Susan Strong, this is where you belong Hangin' with me on a fallen tree Don't you think you deserve this? To live up here on the surface? I think you do and I think all your friends do, too How long have you lived in the darkness? I just want to show you the light Because you're a human, just like me, Susan And I want you in my life
I use to love AT now I just hate it. AT is what you get when you try to make something as goofy as SpongeBob and try to make it into Lord of the Rings and by that I mean take a world with no logic and try to give it logic as well as a serious story.
I really don't like this character, but because she is a bad character but because she represents what is wrong with AT. This show drags out so many plot points and randomly decides to continue them. It gets to the point where I rather just watch a serlized show then a show that tries way to hard to have it both ways when it comes episodic and serlized.
@@CeeGeeFursuits I started to watch it when I was young and as I got older began to realize I didn't have the patients anymore to deal with so many plots being dragged out.

The Founders Island and Super Porp connection you made goes so hard. I never even thought of this connection but it foreshadows her arc so well.
Ayy the goat Kev

Fionna and cake s2 is confirmed don’t lose hope. Hoping for more Susan and frieda, Marty and Minne, and possibly Hunson and Elise
Susan is so strong. They should keep that fact in mind while choosing her last name
😂😂😂
Love love love adventure time for their ability to make beautiful stories from such little content to begin with
Susan Strong is the tightest character in all of at imo. In the sense that every bid of her story just makes so much sense and works together nicely.
8:27 i doubt that, she lost her memory and probably adapted the new one like “okay i guess i am a fish now”
A recurring theme & gag is Princess Bubblegum severely *overestimating* the capabilities of her people.
Gonna start my day with this one
Susan Strong, this is where you belong Hangin' with me on a fallen tree

shittest take ive ever read 😂
You sound bitter and like someone that doesn't like growing up. The way AT morphed into what it became was natural. Stop clinging to the past, man
