I've kept a list of writing prompts or bits of wisdom that I've come across over the past few months, you've given me some things to think about and potentially add to that list. This may be the first year I actually have set goals and a plan on how to achieve them and it is definitely the first time I've had a self-care plan and place to note my gratitude. Life and her shortness slapped me in the face this year in a way I have struggled to recover from but here we are, persevering.

A beautiful video Patricia. The deep red of the blossoming rose against the white of the interior space, then the wilting rose.... these were beautiful metaphors. The shot with blurred depth of field with the rose in the foreground and you and Gary in the background snuggling was so lovely. Your visual creativity just grows and grows. All good, grounding advice. At my Zen Center, part of what we chant is a version of the message of impermanence, the dying rose.
