    How do you get the exhaust tip off

    • @FullSpeedImpulse
      @FullSpeedImpulse  Год назад

      Are you talking about the tip as in undoing the bolts to slip it out the end or the actual small little tip that I used a drill with a step bit to get out

    How's this setup holding up?

    • @FullSpeedImpulse
      @FullSpeedImpulse  Год назад

      We sold the bike. But before we did we ripped it for about a hour. Everything seemed like it was holding up and honestly I don’t think there is much to fail. Should hold up for awhile. Just plug the exhaust to keep water out to prolong the life of your packing inside

      They can get expensive but a great investment in the long run. Took me awhile to get mine and now I don’t know I how I did stuff without it.

    If I do the exhaust mode, and airbox mod, do you need a bigger jets ind the carb?

      I’d start with a 40 pilot and 90 main. Your elevation isn’t crazy high is it?

    If i just do a airbox mod can i keep
    Same jets if i do and i need to what will happen?

    • @FullSpeedImpulse
      @FullSpeedImpulse  10 месяцев назад

      Think of it like this. If you did your airbox mod and you didn’t need to rejet. That means you did not make any performance difference by doing the mod. More air you have, the more fuel you will need. If you didn’t rejet it would prolly become a little harder starting and prolly get some popping out of your exhaust.

      Could you just cut out the spark arrestor on the inside and leave the factory tip to get rid of the flow restriction?

    • @FullSpeedImpulse
      @FullSpeedImpulse  8 месяцев назад

      @PaulSingletonTN You could. And that’s what most people do. But it only frees it up a little bit. There is still plenty more restriction.

    I did this and tbh I don’t recommend it

      It’s a good option for people that want to upgrade on a budget. But yes aftermarket exhaust is the way to go if your looking to spend money.
