- See the loco workings passing through Crewe on the morning of 16th Sept.. First up is 47805 & 47810 in top and tail formation with the Statesman Rail service from Milton Keynes to Carlisle.
A short while later, see Hoovers 50007 & 50049 with Pathfinder Tours 'The Pilgrim Centurion' from Swindon to Edinburgh Waverley.
Lastly and sounding great as ever - 68014 is seen working light engine from Carlisle Kingmoor down to Willesden after a 60 min hold after running early down the WCML to Crewe.
Hope you enjoy the video! Thanks for watching.

Awesome video of the class 50s and class 47s at Crewe station. I love watching your videos.
Glad you like them! Thanks for watching 🙏👍
First Class .......as always😀
Great video 👍
Saw the Swindon train onboard a 390 from Glasgow and The Statesman in Carlisle as I was there on a day-trip. Also saw the Northern Bell, what an unexpected treat!
Lovely departures mate
Nice video 👍👍😀😎👍
I managed to see all 50 class 50's going through Carlisle double headed on the WCML in the seventies when I was a spotty teenager, still love them today. Used to travel up to Newcastle from Teesside then across to Carlisle on the Tyne valley line.
Nice video mate.
But what's Green about running a Light Engine from Carlisle to Lonson 😂😂👍👍😎😎
Cheers mate - Gutted that I missed both tractors staying on the Aber logs this afternoon 🤯🤯🤯
hi, great video, good to see an Anglia Railways mk2d coach still flying the flag, the 2 50s look presentable as usual,
As a young lad, hating the end of steam I would never have thought that over 50 years later I would think ‘ that looks and sounds gorgeous’ about a pair of big brushes. And as for the hoovers in gbrf livery, new locos? Or things BR abandoned 30 years ago?
@ brianwillson9567 old hoovers, just well maintained
@@simonamandamiddleton1587 yes, the ‘new locos’ comment was tongue in cheek. Almost unbelievable that BR abandoned them now longer ago than they were actually in service with BR.
Nice video great camera work as usual as always keep it up bye for now Philip
I wonder how may times them 2 (50s)
Have left that platform before, heading North.
My Favourite Diesel Class 47 Seen The Last Batch Being Built At Crew... To See In Original BR Colours Too A Bonus...
Gah lucky you are mate, i was supposed to see the 50's but couldn't make it unfortunately.
Waiting for it at Edinburgh.
Got them both on platform 6
Nice video. I noticed the front hoover had number 50007 on the front, but 50034 on the side. Does anyone know why. Love the two tone 47's always my favourite
Ernest, I believe Gbrf painted it deliberately, one side identifies as 50034 Furious and the other side as Hercules 50007… not sure why
