- Hello and welcome to episode 1 from the Varanasi series. I'd been long meaning to visit this beautiful city, that brings along with itself so much! The uncountable colorful ghats, the mighty Ganga, the revered aarti, the quirky people, the crammy yet quaint bylanes, the incomparable street food, just to say the 'least'! 😅
In this episode, I will be arriving in Varanasi, and taking you across 3 most popular ghats - Dasaswamedh, Assi and Manikarnika - the burning ghat. We'll travel like the locals and lose ourselves in all that comes our way in beautiful Varanasi!

Believe me no one used to go to assi ghat before 2014.... But after the spectacular done by the govt. it's now a goto place for most of young one's in Varanasi. You should have tried strolling from assi ghat to dashashwamedh ghat it would have been a phenomenol experience.

Varanasi is my hometown and really it was very dirty and polluted but Mr Narendra Modi ji our honourable PM executed several development jobs in record time. Now my city is really adorable. Mr Yogi Ji our CM increased the pace of development jobs in Varanasi since 2017. We are highly thankful to both gems of Indian politics for tremendous development of Uttar Pradesh and Varanasi in a record time. Vlog is very awesome but it is little bit fast. Try to explore Varanasi with a very very slow speed and then you will get the essence of Varanasi. For which you have to spend atleast 10 days in Varanasi without your smartphone and that experience would be the life changing experience.

The situation if you mean COVID protocol wise, keeps changing every day state wise...so best to check with your airline / someone local before travelling, because there's a gap from when I may have travelled and when you plan.
The last I heard from a couple friends 2-3 days ago is that there's a night curfew in Varanasi, at the moment..

The distance would barely be 15 mins by auto rickshaw.....yes you can just visit the cafe at Stay Banaras :)
