Since I made this video I watched Emancipation, Avatar 2 and Marcel the Shell with Shoes On! My very short reviews will be: Well shot and memorable - a restoration of the first movie starring the Maori people - Marcel needs to be protected at all costs 😡 and I need to get a tattoo of him!
15:04 they lacked the talent to pull it off and the diegetic inclusion of the original was stupid one cut of the dead is actually a good enough movie that is only a little bit weird and has only one scene that is different from the usual low budget horrors. and one cut is way better than a lot of them z is a terrible film it's very obvious that it isn't happening and it's just a joke kamera o tomeru na is way better paced, made and edited than coupez and the writing has suffered the most like they claim that z is a remake of kamera o tomeru na but it's supposed to be a remake of one cut of the dead. they somehow stole absolutely everything without even understanding what they saw and despite doing a remake they somehow all had the same lives and the same problems as the film that they are remaking?
prey has 20 cuts per second they couldn't even one shot the actress (in full makeup after bathing in dirt in 1700s) touching the dog they needed 15 cuts for her to just touch the dog and they cut away from ALL THE KILLS
12:11 a movie made by yanks about yanks or a movie made by yanks about tanned yanks not much of a DIFFERENT perspective or diversity i rather watch movies made in africa to get an actually different perspective even something like district 9 is more different than anything yankeestan can produce because the dude actually spent 18 years on the ground before he made his movie about apartheid compare insufferable trash like red panda advertised as "different perspective" with actual zhonghua cinema or compare insufferable haram like miss marvel to anything actually made in arabic it's not like other countries don't make movies even choson makes some and not pure commie propaganda but entertainment too. check out pulgasari and the insane history behind its creation and its yankee reboot
