- How did I NOT know about these BMX Streets mods!? I knew there was a modding community behind BMX Streets, but I think I underestimated just how big that community was! It seems like every day, new modded maps, game mods, etc, and added to the list, and I'm excited to keep checking them out. I did however realize that I don't know how to use any mods except for the modded maps, so if anyone can fill me in, let me know!

Hey someone mentioned this in the comments of the last video.
There are like a stats mod that allows you to fix the lighting in some of the mod maps to make them look better. The RUclipsr TekuFlat made a video about it 3 days ago.
Mash games have mentioned they will eventually make it a toggle to fix the lighting if someone didn't implement their own properly.
Your line at Woodward wasn’t working, because you still had the transition assist turned off in the settings

There’s been mods since day one there were maps ready to go for the release
Some tips for better pronunciation:
Right tricks are regular (just call the name of the trick)
And left are called opposite (like kickflip is regular and heelflip is opposite)
Flip 180 in quarters are called flairs (short for flip air)
Ice and tooth are actually ice pick and tooth pick :)
footjam is a nosepick - so basically do the same as you would for nose manual with the stick but hitting the bumper will stick your foot in the tire
it's a "lip trick" or stall - you would do it on top of a deck of a quarter or on coping IRL

love the fb sprinkled in the video like that, I'd recommend (not judging or telling you what to do) rolling forward when you do tricks, otherwise you pop them fakie and then proceed the land/roll regular, which looks weird imo
For the foot jam u hold your left bumper/L1 and hold up on the right stick like you’re doing a nose manual. Hope this helps!

You need to install the filter mod to make the maps look nicer

You should look into using the no bail mod. Its takes away all those annoying glitchy nails you get by just backing up into a pillar or not landing totally perfect. It makes the game a lot better.

some maps, you have to go to the map file, and add ''.bundle'' at the end of the name for them to work, i guess not all map creators have figured that out yet, but that fixes maps!
Well, you can do superman in Pipe, i dont actually know if you can in this newer version. But its Lb, LT, Rb, RT and down with the right stick. You can do other tricks with all four buttons and you can helicopter spin with the 2 trigger and one of the bumpers and down with the right stick.
For the foot jam use the right stick like doing a nose manny. It’s a balance trick so press LB and nose manny

Love the videos! I would recommend turning down the max lean setting from 15 to like 0 or less it may help with steering and pumping
TBH Garrett your backyard set up is actually perfect to learn how to bike
Why I saw you choose Island Trails off the rip, I knew what was coming. Island trails is hard for me and I’ve been playing since pretty early pipe
when tryn to clear box jumps hold rt and push forward on the left stick and itll send you over it most times
If your really close to landing a jump, do a “tuck up”. It will lift your back tire up just a little more and you can land in it
When you were riding the woodward map, I think you should have had transition assist on when riding the transition. You were struggling to clear the box jump and transition assist would have pushed you far enough to clear it easily. And yes, 180 backflip is a flair. I think you should try holding the right stick in one of the bottom "corners" to do it in one smooth motion rather than doing a backflip, then doing a 180.
For more realistic and better experience of riding you should try to turn on transition assist and turn off grind spin and tradition spin assists
Need to see you check out the GTA map! See if the mini skateparks are included/see if Venice Beach skatepark is rideable (assuming it’s the whole map, I haven’t seen anyone play it yet)
With the gear tweaker to install with melon loader you need to tale it out of the file and only put the white files in the mods folder

Backflip 180 is a Flair (Flip Air), Frontlflip 180 is a flail 😂
barspin 360 is a truck driver and i believe for the foot jam you gotta be rolling slow hold left bumper and push the right thumbstick up gradually
when scootering 180 backflip is called flair
a Flip & a Air = Flair
Dh trails is what your looking for quality for trails no pumping needed
