Ren had read an article in the paper of a "lady of the night" had been killed by a young person. So he wrote the tale of Jenny, then a little while later wrote the Tale Of Screech, the tale of Violet he had written like 2 yrs after. So it was based off of a true story but not the siblings part. Ren is a true masterful story teller, artist, actor, guitarist, musician and is equated to a modern day Bard (Musical Storyteller)
Ren is the most important artist in the last 50 years he's amazing

Eminem is the only one that comes to mind that is better than Ren
One of the context clues that is lost watching this in 2023, versus 2019 when it was written, is the 2...0...0...5. Violet's Tale takes place in 2005, 14 years before the tales of Jenny & Screech. THIS is where Ren just absolutely shines. This "Bardcore" style song as he calls them. I'm not so much a fan of the flex rap songs he does. I get it, I'm an old man and these darned kids today. But this stuff is masterful. And this young man is definitely going places.
I often wonder if some Americans gloss over the year reference and instead think of a postcode..... like Beverly Hills 9....0.....2.....1....0
@@harrysyoutubingI've watched over a dozen reactions to this, and yes, most people whether American or British ignore the two-zero-zero-five. I guess it's just not how we usually say the years. And yes, it coming after the name of the city makes it sound like a post code, or a zip code as Americans would call it.
"Full circle" indeed. Violet was silent, frozen and locked up by fear and abuse, and Jenny seemed much like her mother when confronted by her brother in his robbery attempt. She froze and became statuesque. Screech, violent, quick to anger, a lose cannon, sounding much like his father. I love watching people react to Ren as much as I love nearly every single piece he puts out. So much mindless fodder out there, it's great to have an artist with such emotional depth in their story telling, and articulation. Ren has tapped into the essence of humanity, pain, and the dichotomy within us all.
I always enjoy your Ren reactions. You were so on the case with the ending, many don't get it quickly if at all. Great reaction.

Ren is in a class of his own when it comes to creativity, Artist such as Eminem and NF(who people seem to want to compare him to, probably spend more on their lunch than Ren spends on a production,give the previous two artists the same tools and budget Ren works with,could either of them produce anything like this? Absolutely not!!,❤
I'm sick of people comparing them, like Ren is really good almost as good as NF. I'm like they are not even close. Yes NF is good at what he does but Ren's multi talent in so many areas of playing instruments and bending each genre is unmatched.

Ren tells the stories and the filming of the stories are all done so well i found myself looking for the bodies laying on the ground. The saddest thing about this is the fact each of these things are happening in every country at this very moment and the cycle continues

This was inspired by a true story in a news report--but the main story is in fact all Ren.
This story is based of an actual story that had occurred that he read about in the news but he added a little twist. The crazy part is how our actions and traits can pass on to our kids. For example Jenny getting the traits of her mother being silent in the face of violence with her freezing up like a statue and Screech being violent like their father was to his mother. Goes to show you we should act how we would want our kids to act. But none the less great song and great reaction!
The Positive is that Ren is not just a mega-talented artist, but also a powerful social commentator who is not afraid to tackle the tough social topics. He brings us right into the frame to stand not just as Audience, but as Witness. He wants us to Care. Not just murmur empty platitudes like, 'Oh What a shame..." and then click away to the next news item. We do KNOW how innocents like Jenny Screech and Violet get onto pathways let lead to becoming victims and / or perpetrators. Ren's question - left hanging at the end is; " so... why aren't we doing more to stop this?"

the story goes so much deeper there is a video of the life of Screech that Ren did as well as a video of Screech dying in the hospital, Screeches girl did not want him to come over cus his friend Patric and her were fooling around behind his back the screech video is long and ren almost lost his youtube because they thought it was real or somthing like that
