Man I wish you guys were closer I would bring my machine to you guys for service👍I have yet to have my can am at my dealer without a screwup or forgot something on the service ticket🤯Just started doing my own work to make sure it’s right and luckily no major issues at all in 3000 miles❤️👍
Thank you for the video, i just put them on and i notice that the rollers not rotating, i am not sure if they are slightly bigger than OEM rollers and touching the helix.
Thanks for the video it’s really good, was wondering if you drive the pin too far and you break the casting on the back? Is this cause for concern? Have you done that before
I know the video says if you go too far pull it back with the tool yes, but there is casting in the clutch that should stop it was moving but mine just popped and now I don’t know what to do
Thanks for watching. If you go a little to far we do use the tool to pull it back flush. We never broken the casting but I am sure it could happen. Make sure to use heat when pulling out the pins and take your time when installing the new rollers.
Thanks for watching. No you can cut the pin and replace it with a new pin. You will have to get a punch and drive out the last part of the pin and once the old pin is out. Install a new one.
Thanks for watching. We have not done it that away. I would think that it could not be done, the bolt that holds it on the transmission will come straight off and then pull the secondary off with your hands it dont need a special tool.
Hello, We have used them and have not used them if they where damaged. I dont think it really affects the performance of the rollers so use them if you have them, but if they are damaged you can leave them out.
Mine has a set of washers on both sides of the roller is that incorrect? There were installed by a dealer a few weeks ago and they are all broken again
Adrenaline Cycles I got the base 120 but I did the evolution upgrade to 200 but clutching is still stock may have something to do why I keep exploding rollers?
Thanks for watching. We have had great results with these rollers. Once we install them it does help take some of the clanking noise out of the secondary clutch
Thanks for watching, Typically they will go for 2500-4000 miles with no issues. But what happens is the rollers can fail under use when the driver lets off the throttle then is hard back on the gas it lets the rollers get smacked hard against the helix and that breaks the factory rollers. The Gboost solves this problem as it has a more durable material.
i have a 2019 max turbo R just turned 12,100 miles, all on stock stuff. other than belts, and blowing out the clutches every 3 or 4 rides, my clutches and rollers look fine. i ride all over la paz county Az. i have 600 hrs on the rig, and have ridden the AZ peace trail once. only got a broken headlight mount, and cracked coolant bottle. i am the original owner. i get about 3000 mi before i change a belt. i ride it hard, but dont jump it or otherwise tear it up. it goes to glamis dunes as well.
Curious, I have a 2019 Defender XMR, the secondary is different. It has star head bolts that run through the inside between the inner and outer. Looks like that’s what holds the roller pins on mine. Have you messed with those much ? I’m debating doing the roller job myself as both my rollers split for some reason.
Thanks for watching. To be honest we do if they are good. But if the washers are bent up we just leave them out of the new rollers and they work fine that away.

Thanks for watching. Yeah we hear this all the time. Ride safe and enjoy that X3.

Thanks for watching. If its touching it will not affect it. We installed hundred of them and never had issues. Run it.
Thanks, it’s great 👍🏻

if I screwed up and broke a set screw from the puller inside the pin threads...is it game over and time to purchase a new outer half?
Thanks for watching. No you can cut the pin and replace it with a new pin. You will have to get a punch and drive out the last part of the pin and once the old pin is out. Install a new one.
Can i do this without taking the clutch apart if i dont need to replace my helix, im just replacing the rollers.
Thanks for watching. We have not done it that away. I would think that it could not be done, the bolt that holds it on the transmission will come straight off and then pull the secondary off with your hands it dont need a special tool.
Is it it cheaper to buy a new one or have someone like y'all change the rollers in one I got one broke
Way cheaper to have us change the rollers out than buy a new clutch part.
thank's for the informations
No problem!
Could a broken roller cause a check engine light and limp mode? Could I ride one day with one missing?
Thanks for watching. Yeah it can cause a engine light.
Do you reuse the oem roller shims/washer with the rhino rollers ?

6k on my machine. Hard miles probably time to do this. Do you have to have the tool?
Thanks for watching. Yeah you will need the tool for sure.
@@AdrenalineCyclesKy ok thank you
Do you know the torque on the main bolt for the secondary clutch? 2020 RC RR thank you!
Thanks for watching. We have a clutch holding tool that we use to that holds the clutches together so they can be torqued.
55 ft lbs, +or - 4 lbs. This is the torque for the bolt that holds the entire secondary clutch onto the shaft. Use blue lock tite too.
Does the washer go on inside of roller or outside
Thanks for watching. It goes on the outside of the roller.
What are the numbers for that the end of the spring goes into? Mines on like 2 I think?
The number depends on model X3 you have. What model do you got and I will find out for you.

Could you deburr the helix rather than toss a still rather usable component?
Thanks for watching. You could clean it up a little bit but try not to change the ramp angle of it as it will affect the clutch performance.
@@AdrenalineCyclesKy I figured you may be able to just clean up the lip at the edge so it doesn't ruin your new rollers, but I wasn't sure.
Found answer already thanks
Thanks for watching.
How well of performance upgrade?
Thanks for watching. We have had great results with these rollers. Once we install them it does help take some of the clanking noise out of the secondary clutch
Where you buy helix for $125?
Thanks for watching. Back in the day they could be found for that.
How many miles do most secondary rollers last? Couple thousand miles?
Thanks for watching, Typically they will go for 2500-4000 miles with no issues. @@AdrenalineCyclesKy Hello what material does Gboost use for the roller?

What is the part number to find a new helix?
420280706 this should be the part number for the helix.
Thanx! Was really helpful!
Thanks for watching. Glad it was helpful.
Did you guys use the oem shims with the new rollers ?
I have the same question, do you reinstall the oem shims with the rhino rollers ?
You can if they are good shape put them back in, But we have done it both ways and it performs fine either way with or without shims.

What’s the tool part number
DCP26

Yeah they hold the rollers in it.
Whats your thoughts on getting a spring that doesn't sit down in the holes?
Thanks for watching. If the spring dont sit and lock into a hole it can cause the helix not to keep tension on the rollers and work properly.
Do you use factory washers w gboost roller bearings
Thanks for watching. To be honest we do if they are good. But if the washers are bent up we just leave them out of the new rollers and they work fine that away.
