What's the Best Boat For a Long Tail Mud Motor?

10 Feet for the aluminum Jon and 16 feet for the square back canoe. unfortunately the aluminum boat has a hole In the bottom from the river and the scanoe is thinned out on the bottom to the point of I'm scared to fall through. but no worries I'm building HDPE boats ASAP

Would a 1240 lowe be too wide for the 212cc predator on a long tail? Thanks for your insight

It will push it just fine Maybe not 20 mph but It will push it just fine if I was you consider the wildcat 223cc engine Same weight three-quarter inch shaft great power replacement for a predator 212 and you can get it with electric start I have plenty of videos on the wildcat 223cc if you’re curious. just so you know night and day difference in torque and power

Ok one last question which tail kit would you recommend if you could get any of the big 3. I have a bit of time to get it all together before spring!

@@clinthouston7696 easy man Beaverdam or Swamprunner either one you cannot go wrong. Swamprunner will give you more options for different shafts like saltwater shafts and racing shafts while Beaverdam has less options but is a good fast efficient design. Both are great 👍
