Nah, the M52B28 is still solid engine even if you turbocharge it and its more cheaper than whole engine swap
What about the 260b40 that's the m3 gtr engine... But sadly it's only available for the gtr so he could do a V8 and a turbo

Cool to see that you have con back to the 3 Series lyfe. I own an E46 M Sport but it's the 4 cylindee model. I have grown quite atatched to Gunther.
Those were my stock rims!!!! ahh the memories my first car 1994 e36 325i
144,000 miles picked it up with a blown head gasket fixed it and so many good memories with the car kept it for 4 years hit exactly 200,000 miles when the head gasket blew again my fault ( hitting a corner drifting caused the main hose connected to the closest hose on cooling system to the engine disconnected which cause it to over heat ) but these cars are the perfect 1st car to get for anybody
If u can do the basic Maintenance go ahead and pick it up
I regret letting mine go but I plan on getting one in the future just make sure the head gasket isint blown if u update the cooling system these cars are just as solid as a Camry or Sentra

Would recommend making a tool board just a bit of ply wood on your wall with different mounts for your tools that you use most. This way they are easy to see and grab and only takes up wall space

I have a 350z and I just changed the radiator out and that was a fun process lol I love working on my cars I got the 2011 Ford Fusion and the 2007 Nissan 350z
Perfect budget car for drift days, even here in Oz they are dirt cheap.
