Same shit different year... I called it yesterday: The raiders win games they should lose and lose games they should win. Josh McDaniels was fired at the end of October last year. The question is who will be fired and when this year. Here's how it's going to play out: Getsy will be first to be fired and be replaced with Marvin Lewis to buy Antonio Pierce some time. Then sometime in November Patrick Graham will take over as interim coach. Next year, Mark Davis will shell out mega-bucks to get Bill Belichick and the process will start over again.

Team was not prepared to play it looked like they thought Panthers would just roll over. Defense especially secondary looked awful the only guys making plays were Hobbs, Jones, and Spillane. Dalton came in and shredded the Raiders defense. Getsy doing stupid things like running on 3rd down and passing on 4th down. Obviously it's a learning curve every season and AP has decisions to make after this one.

And he drafted poorly in the first 4 rounds. Maybe the TE works out but Mayer we already had. On paper this is a team stacked with receivers but no line or QB. AP better change the play calling or he’s going to get fired.

Coach Pierce has to realize that they played a team who desperately needed to win, and had no intentions of letting up the pressure on the Raiders! I would not blames any player! I think the new offensive coordinator for the Raiders is absolutely horrible. The offensive line is pathetic. You can’t even get one yard a quarterback motion this entire team right now looks like crap. Every team gets better Jacksonville Cleveland, Tampa Bay Detroit. It’s a league of parity, but the Raiders never ever ever get better.

@@SailorMac808 I actually think Tyson Bagent has the potential to be a starting QB in this league. Granted it was the pre-season, but he looked like Tom Brady when playing. His only problem last year was Luke Getsy was the Bears OC.

Dancing around in relatively clean pockets the entire second half. Not running. Just scrambling in a phone booth and taking the L. He has had one terrible pick in each game…which is the same number of TD passes he has thrown. I like him. Maybe it’s not all him, but those are facts and we need to figure out how to fix it.
