Thank you for sharing! Looking good, Mike Norell. You portrayed "Capt. Hank Stanley" to perfection. Enjoyed your performances on my favorite television series growing up, and contributions after, among them a writer for television.
I do watch the reruns of Emergency it's a great show and Michael Norell is the best Captain on the show he's a great guy ❤️ it looked like they had good chemistry on the show
You still look really good Mr. Michael Norell. I absolutely loved EMeRGENCY. I still watch it on COZYTV here in Los Angeles. I never tire of watching it over and over. Thank you so much . I am a fan of yours and the show for life.
I liked the point that was brought up about how the show compared to today's TV shows based on Firefighting. Looking back at all the episodes that I have seen they were like "true to life" scenarios. I think today's TV should get a clue based on the show.
It is so go to see him doing well, I loved the show Emergency. I loved the show so much, that's why I got interested in being an EMT.. Emergency is unlike other fire shows, each episode was so realistic. To see how we have advanced in Fire and Emergency Medicine from 72 to today is amazing. The entire series was excellent and the actors perfect. Mike Norell was made to play Capt. Stanley!
I know the show is based around Roy and Johnny but Emergency would not have been the same without “Cap”!! Nobody does that famous response: “10-4 Station 51 KMG-365” better than him!
Sometimes replacements aren't as good as the original, but in this case I liked Michael in his portrayal of Captain Stanley over Dick Hammer as Captain Hammer.
I watch reruns of Emergency, and even though Mike Stoker was the only firefighter on the show, the other actors played their parts so well that it seems like they all could've been firefighters (and in the case of Mantooth and Tighe, paramedics) in real life.
Wish they had given him a mic. He played such a great inspirational part, a captain you'd wanna work for.
It's horrible to get old.
We need to treat elderly with respect.
RIP Capt. Stanley.
Such a Brilliant show. The entire family could watch together.
Love this man, love this show.
R.I.P. Michael Norell!
Awesome to see him!
Get well Cap. We love you

Firefighters were started by Ben Franklin. 10:02
RIP Michael Norell, aka Captain Hank Stanley.
I know he was an actor and all, but I still can't think of calling him anything but "Cap".
Thank you for making these CC.
Yeah Captain Stanley😊
Hank was a role made just for him it fit him so well

I just sent him a get well card. I had a hard time sending it. I was in tears signing and mailing it
Do you have a mailing address for Mr. Norrell that you can share? Would love to send him a card as well.
Love Michael Norell in Emergency! And he was fantastic in the role of Captain Stanley!

I too agree.
@@doug9066 Ain't that the truth. Every fire/EMS show has altered rescues of Emergency.
I drive thru the county where he lives. I would love to stop and have a visit with him.
I would like to ask him why did he set fire to the chiefs hat.
James, do you know what facility he resides in?
@@bbashn no I do not

Indeed-- of all the Captain characters on that hit NBC medical/action series, he was the best of them!
That’s how I started calling our local firemen that name Cap..
