Since RUclips and all animal videos, it has become clear to me that animals understand language, they have emotions, they can understand, and they think, plan and have many human attributes. Animal smiles are there but very subtle. Look at the face of a purring cat, or dog when you return home, they definitely look happy.
25:29 ... what a wonderful perfect voice ... perfect pronunciation ... perfect English ... perfect and interesting content ... You deserve , sir roger ! this sort of audience ... it was a real great question , FULLY inside this context ...
My mama used to smile easily readily. Yet I find it to hard to smile and I grieve and I admire people who smile.Smile is Holy dignified Noble. I crave to Smile.

People want to document, show, record their 'good' nature, this is why we smile. I attended college in the UK and the photo of the department head was an unsmiling sour-face. (would never happen in the US) I felt like I was looking into a side of their nature I did not like. And indeed never connected with them on a personal level. First impressions are very important. - why show your ugly side? everyone knows about it, we all have it. “Keep your face always toward the sunshine and shadows will fall behind you” - Walt Whitman. Same with a smile.
Seems to be a general problem with those audiences. You get the impression that many of them just want to give mini-speeches of their own, hoping to be admired for their originality and wit (in which they are often lacking). Scruton had the patience of a saint.

very insightful, indeed. But I wish you had included the slides too in the video, would be priceless! However, thanks for your work.
Yeah this is not really watchable as he's in dialogue with them.
Scruton gets better and better at presenting his ideas.

It would be helpful if the slides which prof. Scruton used are also presented in this footage.

16:00 in fact retina cells act like antennas: they receive and can emit light. RIP Sir Roger Scruton. 🌧🌧🌧🌷
Any idea what photograph he shows at 6:20?
Why on earth don't you include the slides which are the primary reference for his remarks? Whats the point?
This is a real frustration not to be able to see the slides he provided to help his points fully understood !
The people asking the questions here completely missed the point.
