I discovered your channel just recently and let me tell you, you guys are the best cruise vloggers PERIOD! I love the fact you guys go to the main dining room; that's how I judge a cruise line's food quality. On another note, I live 10 minutes away from the San Pedro port yet flew cross-country to go on Wonder of the Sea's inaugural sailing. It was a dud! I should have stayed local and gone on the Carnival ship with you guys and EECC Travels instead!

Yeah, the trip back up the coast on winter sailings is usually pretty cold, good for indoor activities. Glad you had a good time overall on your first Mexican Riviera trip!
Real time vlogging is too stressful, so we have no plans to go back to that. We normally stay one to two weeks delayed, just so we can continue actually enjoying our vacations rather than turning them into complete work sessions and missing all the fun!! :P
I'm hoping to sail royal next summer, oasis is what I'm thinking, either that or princess, or Mardi Grais. Can't decide which one yet. Can't wait for the next series.

Hello Dee & Jay! I've been watching your channel for a few year now; thank you so much for the content! We are avid cruisers, and have also been to several all-inclusive resorts, as well. My question is, how do you know what to pack? I always seem to over-pack, and it's frustrating. I know your channel isn't about what to pack in your suitcase, which I really appreciate, but Dee, you have so many cute outfits and accessories, and based on the sizes of your suitcases, it doesn't seem like you are packing your whole closet each time. Seriously, how do you do it?!?! Especially when you are getting off of one ship and hopping onto another.
Tonya, I've really learned to pack clothes that can be used for multiple outfits. I also try to choose lighter fabric that does not wrinkle. I bring a couple of jackets to change up the look of the outfits. I concentrate more on different shirts than bottoms since you can mix and match. I take a small jewelry holder with some earrings and necklaces that are simple and go with many outfits. I've started bringing a few headbands to accessorize.

That’s not far from shore prices for Johnny Rocket’s, I used to eat there in NY a lot. I have to say, aside from my well documented hatred of mega large ships that have so many people , the other reason I tend not to book RCCL is that aside from the facts that the base rates are higher ( which is reasonable & I’d pay if I was interested , I’ve paid for a lot of higher tiered cruises on HAL) but that the variety of included food seems to be getting smaller & unlike Carnivals up charges restaurants ($36 for the steakhouse , $15 for the Italian ) the prices at the RCCL up charge restaurants isn’t that cheap at all compared to land based restaurants in say Florida . It’s not like you’re getting a steak dinner you’d pay $80 for on land for $36 , it’s like you’re getting an $80 dinner for $70.
Jay, how is that Vidalia Tart? Is it more sweet/savory? It looks really good. Oh man kudo's to the walking around with the stinky perfume. I always ending up sneezing horribly in there, or just walking by
It's kind of a nice balance, and ends up being one of my preferred bites of the cruise, ha ha... but it definitely leans more savory. Love it!! :D ~Jay

Thankee! Live reviews of MDR food isn't our style and never will be, but if we do a specialty restaurant or something like that, we typically do some updates in the moment!! :P

I know you don’t do play by plays on the MDR dinners, but I’m very glad you show a picture of the dish as it helps me figure out if I think I’m going to like something by seeing the presentation. Your showing the MSC trips food had a lot to do with me deciding if I’d book them or not. I decided not.
